Microgynon and Mirena Coil together? How did you get on?

I have been instructed to take the pill (despite having the mirena) until my 2nd lap (no date as yet) but after 3 days I have been sick every morning and am feeling awful! Anyone else taken both?

LauraJayne92 ... hiya, sorry i cant offer any advice but im interested to find this out as i’ve just been advised to start taking the pill alongside my Mirena.. i was so concerned about side effects... keep in touch and let me know how its going... ❤️

Is that advice for real? The main reason doctors push mirena coil on endo patients is because it's progestogen-only. Estrogen is meant to feed the disease, which microgynon has a generous dosage of... I'm honestly baffled about the shoddy medical advice given to women with endometriosis. Not to mention they're telling you to take it ahead of your surgery. I'm actually shocked.If it's not sitting well with you stop taking the pill. Treatment should be making you feel better, not worse.
