Ablation Number Four
Further to my post a few days ago where I described my disappointment at slipping back into ‘Possible AF’ just 10 weeks after my third ablation, I have now seen my EP. He analysed the print out of an ECG and feels that I am now experiencing atrial tachycardia rather than af and that it is worth doing

Severe work anxiety
I'm so deeply convinced I'm going to get fired for my
mental
health
struggles that I feel like I should quit a job before they fire me. My partner has been supporting us solely since September, and I know it's difficult for him to do that. I feel so guilty, all the time.

Cardiac surgery
Has anyone on long term thyroid meds had open-heart cardiac repair surgery? Any ideas as to whether it affects thyroid and any need to up/ lower T4/T3 meds? Any reflections/suggestions would be most welcome.

Cardiac open heart surgery
Hi to all Has anyone with metastatic breast cancer had open heart cardiac surgery and might you share your experience with me please? I only saw my surgeon yesterday and am now scheduled for Monday. How amazing is that but I'm just a bit scared. It's one of those 'be careful what you wish for' situations

Relationship advice
My world was blown apart and my
mental
health
has suffered since then. I know I am not the easiest person to live with. The symptoms of my ADHD mean I am messy and chaotic but my childhood (narcissist mother, emotionally uncaring) mean I also have low self esteem and bouts of depression.

Mitral Valve repair

Has anyone had severe breathlessness? Targinact
I have had RLS for over 20 years and have tried most medications, the latest being Pregabalin, which was good but is now not working so well. I therefore asked my GP if I could try Targinact as I read this is now licensed for RLS. He has agreed and I just need to taper Pregabalin. Can anyone

Hi there. Nice to meet you. Don't be anxious. It doesn't hurt. And it will go away.
Just putting this on the Internet to let anyone reading that it doesn't matter your age, gender, lifestyle or genetics when it comes to
mental
health
. I'm sure I am more predisposed to
mental
health
issues but I am also anxious about getting more active as I have health anxiety.

vasospastic coronary arteries
Well after 3 years and one aortic aneurysm fixed as a bonus, a consultant at an and e last night said ‘ you had better be tested for vasospastic coronary arteries ( well he said Prinzvariant actually) . From milk fairy’s and others brilliant posts that I have read at least I was aware of it. We are still

Do I take time to get better.
I could the time and go to therapy and the gym and make my
mental
health
better as this has caused it to go down hill. But if I take the time off work and I don't get better would it look bad. How long should I stay at 3 days and what do I do on the 2 days I'm off. Any advice is welcome

Heart Failure diagnosis.
I am an 80 year old female with a history of Atrial Fibrillation. I have had 3 Ablations and am now on rate control drugs which keep me quite comfortable. Recently my breathing became a problem and I am getting generalised weakness . I really do expect this at my grand age but I do like to drive and
