Journey to recovery
Your
mental
health
also plays a part in recovery. I would suggest taking your mind from the “I’m different and a strange person because of my IBS or digestive problems “ to “I’m the same old me that used to have digestive issues once in a while but it doesn’t determine my day”.

I believe my anxiety really started June 2020 with a
mental
health
situation in which I was messaging people related to my schizophrenia. And people were really unhappy with me. I had anxiety emailing.

Unreal letter from the hospital!
I've been waiting to hear if they'll give me physiotherapy or
mental
health
care or pain management... just something! And all the letter says is 'we are aware you are an out patient in this department. If you wish to stay on our list you must phone the number in the next 14 days.

OCD like symptoms, health anxiety etc.
I know there is good research suggestion a specific subgroup of OCD that may have immunological basis, but getting to anyone who recommends medical investigation for the symptoms of Thyroid and
mental
health
together hasn’t been forthcoming. Getting increasingly desperate. Thanks in advance

A warm 10K ☀️🏃♀️👍
I was still planning to run, because we all know that running is so good for our
mental
health
- and it’s why I started running in the first place. It started well enough, and the first few kms I kept to the zone quite easily.

Almost a year post laparoscopy for endo and still suffering
I'm 22 years old and my life is severely being impacted by this, I'm frequently off work, I have no social life and my
mental
health
is in tatters. I just am desperately looking for advice to anything you have found to help while I wait for this appointment?

I first completed c25k 2 years ago as part of recovery from a rough period of
mental
health
. I was just falling in love with running (something I never thought I'd say!)

I work from home and this sales job has really messed with my
mental
health
because I think what I am getting paid is unacceptable. I do enough to get by...and most days I do not do a whole lot.

help me help a friend
(she doesn't have any
mental
health
needs, this is where her problems arise) so, my two questions are this 1. what sort of things will be discussed during the meeting, and what can I say to prepare her.

Things with personal development / professional development.
But, it cause me a
mental
health
issue, overthinking, anxiety of failing, etc.,

But what my mainly concern is about is it has to be fear to stick while improving, it feels like the more improvement the more fear it gets.

Helpful Self-Talk, Anyone?
I’d also like to quickly say that I’m confident about medical choices I’m making for myself, so medical advice isn’t necessarily needed - this is more for the
mental
health
side of what we go through.

Struggling
My family tell me to go and get it sorted, but I'm almost staying in physical pain as long as I can, because I am that afraid of the outcome being the worst and changing my appetite negatively, leading to more
mental
health
low self esteem which would be worse.

Read this Tweet recently, which resonated with my own positive
mental

experience on increasing prayer as part of many Lifestyle changes. I have waxed lyrical here about many other changes but have always hesitated to mention prayer for those wary of the 'God Squad'.

Anxiety since RA - medication?
hi, since been diagnosed a year ago my anxiety and
mental
health
have declined hugely alongside the physical parts of RA and medication (I’m on MTX 15mg) I also have a history of trauma and ptsd type symptoms, and am peri menopausal.. so i don’t think there’s one specific cause for the anxiety probably
