What now?
Hi, I've been discharged from the
mental
health
place. The care coordinator says he's going elsewhere & that I've not been cooperating with my support worker (?). I understand I'm nowhere near as bad as most of the people they deal with and that resources are very stretched.

Sadly Not Just Thyroid Patients
I've been following the infected blood scandal with interest, basically thousands of patients in the 70's, 80's and early 90's were given blood transfusions/ products that were cheaply imported, often from USA, and not screened for Hep C. This was to save the NHS money. Unfortunately many people became

Need to get back to work
Hi, I had PP 3 & a half years ago immediately after the birth of my son, which was my first experience of any serious
mental
health
episode. It took me a long time to recover, but finally came off antipsychotics (which I found impossibly sedating) when he was just under 2.

Recently diagnosed with inattention ADHD.
I was off with anxiety and I didn't want to disclose the full extent of my
mental
health
issues because, despite confidentiality, alot of people there have loose lips.

I don't know if my

services say I don’t give myself enough time to allow the side effects to wear off but they’re not mild, they’re debilitating and nasty and make my anxiety worse.

Am I going insane?
He almost gleefully told me I’d have that for the rest of my life (gastritis) and nothing would heal it when I said I follow a good gut health diet and recognise the gut mind connection in relation to my
mental
health
declining.

Mildly Burning After Withdrawing From Neupro
Hi All, As I have posted before, recently I withdrew from Neupro with the help of Buprenorphine. It has been 6 weeks now without any dopamine agonist and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately, issues have come up recently that I thought someone might be able shine some light

Many people I spoke to were suffering from
mental
health
issues, as well as physical anxiety and all being together helped, rather like being on this forum. By 9am I was eating a cooked breakfast overlooking the sea and feeling euphoric, swearing to do the same next year!

Buprenorphine transition from patch to tablets
Hey Everyone With the help of a 20 mg 7 day Buprenorphine patch, I have been free of any dopamine agonist for almost 3 months. But as we all know, the patch does not last 7 days, 5 if you are lucky. Consequently, I change it every 5 days and have had pretty good results. Initially, I would have moderate

Ready to move on from this job to a better one
It has already been bad for my
mental
health
for months...and I've only worked in this job for a little over a year. I think I now understand why the last guy left. A part of me isn't done with the place I am now, because I always like to leave a workplace better off than when I came in.

What Gardening Can Teach Us About OCD?
Likewise, I’m facing two main challenges in maintaining good
mental
health
: the difficulty to ignore problems that solve themselves with the passing of time and the difficulty to address those that require my attention, and the first difficulty isn’t any less than the second one.
