Had RA since 2019 .now a pretty active 70 yr old female. Pain management is pretty good now. But recently find myself crying for no real reason. Could this be related to RA.

I’ve been really struggling with my mental health. My family are great but I don’t leave the house. I even work from home now and I have other people doing my shopping for me. My friends have their own life and I feel very isolated. I miss living.

In October this year he had open heart surgery to replace the valve (he turned 38 years old in December) His recovery went really well but I am concerned about his mental health. I know that depression after surgery is common but he seems very low and on edge emotionally.

Why do people always say anxiety is a mental health condition I just dislike that word, it's makes me feel so bad , just thinking of mental health makes me want to shout I don't have a mental health issue even though it maybe true.

I have an appointment with a mental health person from my GP surgery on 11 02 25. I am really not happy to take antidepressants but would consider if balance of all round advice comes down on this side. Thank you in advance.
