Are you only on apixaban or are you on a rate or rhythm control medication such as beta blockers or calcium channel blockers? Have you contacted your cardiac nurses or your EP?
I was on verapamil up until 3 weeks ago . When my low blood pressure problem started I spoke to the arrithymia nurses who felt that it may be the verapamil and took me off them. Its made no difference at all . So am at a loss to know what to do next . Its all started since my ablation. I had an echo and all was fine .
I started taking apixaban 4 weeks prior to ablation so I've been on them 8 weeks now ...low BP started 5 weeks after I started them
I tried all sorts of beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, rate and rhythm medication and mixes of all but they all made me feel fatigued, very breathless and coughing all the time. At one time - can't remember which beta blocker or calcium channel blocker I was on at the time but my rate went down to 35 and I called out an ambulance and spent 24 hours in hospital. I think that was around June time and in the September when I could hardly walk down the stairs, let alone up, my wife rang my cardio and EP and they decided I should come off them and just stay on anticoagulants only.
When do you next see the EP who carried out your ablation? I think this may be something they need to know about. Can you ring their secretary and ask for advice from the EP or a telephone consultation?
