Night sweats
I have noticed this week I have woken up with water on my back and chest. My hair is wet and my bedding is too. I am in my sixth week of recovery since having open heart surgery, valve replacement. Has anyone else experienced this, I have only noticed it this week.

Operations after heart bypass
I am interested in knowing about anyone who has had major surgery after a heart bypass even it wasn’t related to the heart and with full anaesthetic

paroxysmal atrial fibrillation converted back to sinus rhythm
Hi, I had a really awful Afib attack that resulted in a fast heart beat the other night. The morning after I took my medication and about an hour later my heart reverted back to sinus rhythm but for a few seconds I nearly passed out and remained very dizzy for the rest of the morning. Thrush but not a bird
I have been given the wrong dose of my inhaler for Asthma. Now have to use two puffs instead of one to obtain the same amount. Will this increase my sore throat and oral thrush burden ? It is something I struggle with. Nothing to be done until Monday. Any advice would be welcome.

open heart surgery for AF
hi My EP says did to my heart having an anatomical variant he was unable to do the ablation as he couldn’t get to the heart through the vein. He is now telling me my only option is open heart surgery. Sounds a bt drastic but has anyone had this procedure for AF. My af has gone from PAF to persistent

Positivity, trust and determination are the key to a good recovery after major open heart surgery.
I am an 86 year old female but my aorta with a 6cms aneurism and the valve were replaced. I kept positive and, touch wood, five months on I am independent and well.

Update/advice sought
This certainly explains why I've always remained symptomatic despite taking Levo and, which is worryingly common, why I've been diagnosed with all sorts of
mental
health
conditions rather than testing my Thyroid function with robust tests against OPTIMAL rather than the "normal" ranges used.

LDN for ADHD when taking Concerta?
She also has been severely struggling with her
mental
health
, low BP and dizziness, fatigue and very painful periods. We thought that the LDN might also help with some of these symptoms.

I am slowly feeling better, pain in the chest and discomfort in the back, left rib and sternum is still there but I know it will all fuse back together soon. I sometimes feel in my own world but present if you get what I mean. The one thing I have found difficult is the mood swings, I push myself to

Afib and Atrial tachycardia ...
Hi all, Long story short, I've had arrhythmia for years, Afib and SVT. 4 ablations later, last year they fitted me with a dual chamber pacemaker and had an AV Node ablation. I still have an ILR fitted and from the uploads of a night from my monitor, they have found I'm having Atrial Tachycardia,
