ADHD or something else?
My ADHD spouse will eat everything in the refrigerator, even if it belongs to someone else or was for a group. He eats dozens of cookies baked as gifts, an entire tray of meat balls cooked for shared dinner. I at one point had a locked food cage to keep him off of other peoples things. When asked

Feeling helpless
Hi… very new and nervous to all this and not sure if anyone can help me. A little bit of background as there too much to say - I’m in my 40s, 2 children (19,16) a VERY lovely, thoughtful and caring husband who would do anything for me and very good successful job. 12 years ago, I cared for my mum

Update
Hello all! I’ve been away for a while. I wanted to work on taking control of my anxiety. I’ve been learning to live better with my Generalized Anxiety Disorder. GAD. My doctor wants to refer me to a specialist. They’d be able to better analyze what medication I needed and provide counseling. I’m hopeful

My husband of 33 years feels the need to correct my behavior. While I am grateful he no longer does so in public, my father-in-law and my son have stood up to this behavior in the past, he still feels the need to do so in private. The shame and humiliation I feel are still there. Now that I have been

Specialised Counselling
I wondered if anyone has had specialised counselling that dealt with chronic pain, multiple operations, complications and infertility. I think that I really need counselling but I want someone who understands what I've been though.

Is this an intrusive thought?
IS THIS OCD? Long story short, I’ve always had forms of OCD and recently developed harm ocd. It’s by far the most disturbing form. I have counseling and have a session this week but just wanted to hear from others with this horrible disease. I was in my kitchen and saw a large fork thought about it

Help for victims of ketamine given as a post-op drug..?
Ketamine is routinely given as a drug to aid people in recovery after surgical operations. Most people, it seems, suffer no bad effects. Others, my wife among them, suffer terrible hallucinations and debilitating after-effects. She recently had to have two major emergency surgical op's and was given

Shame getting in the way of self love and progress. Suggestions?
Hello, I am 24 years old and have struggled with OCD most of my life. I have months or years when it's easier than others. I have been solely obsessive in my mind with occasional bouts of severe compulsive behaviors. I have been out of counseling for about 4 months now, and I'm attempting to continue

*sensitive* pregnancy after miscarriage
Hi, I have recently found out I am pregnant following a miscarriage 3 years ago and some fertility treatment. My anxiety is pretty high as I have the same symptoms as last time I miscarried. I have registered for NHS counseling through IAPT but there is a long wait. Can anybody recommend a private counsellor

It's a negative :(
Hey so had my OTD on Wednesday, we'd planned in advance for any outcome so we took Wednesday and Thursday off just to deal with whatever comes and have time to ourselves. OTD was 11dp5dt, clear negative, we're both really upset. Our clinic lets us report results through their portal so we don't need
