Getting very fed up and low
After finding out today that my first round of clomid hasn't worked I have been in floods of tears all day my eyes are puffy. I decided to ring my clinic to see where we are on the list we will now not be seen until after next April when we were originally looking at February. Our clinic has been completely

I'm new here
6 weeks ago I was diagnosed with PMR. I have been grieving for my partner who died from Prostate cancer 17 months ago and my world had become a grey, unappetising, unmotivated place. I was afraid of disappearing down the 'slippery slope' of depression that I have had a tendency to for many years,

Exhausted Mom
My 8 year old son has ADHD. As his pediatrician stated, after reviewing his school's assessment and required paperwork and her own assessment, he is "off the charts" ADHD. Being a single mom to two very active small boys I had enrolled us in family counseling. It was stated that they believed my son

I am new here...
I have always been a fairly bubbly, very shy until you get to know me and am comfortable, happy, "go lucky" kind of person. And this year I switched schools and I think it has caused those traits to fade away. So a bit of a backstory: I had gone to the same, very small, private school for 5 years. And

Donor match update Fresh or frozen eggs?
So I chased up the clinic on my donor match and they hadn’t put my details forward for matching until after we’d had our counselling session which was only 2 weeks ago (annoying as we’d already had counselling through another hospital previously) so I have to be more patient! We were planning to go

Tips for Engaging School G.C.?
So, my daughter was just recently diagnosed by pediatrician as ADHD-Inattentive. I am working to gather my resources and figure out counseling and medication for her. The part that is throwing me for a loop is how I should engage her school on this? The initial suggestion to look into ADHD came from

How long does it take to get a donor match?
So we’ve decided to go down the donor egg route as my ageing eggs haven’t worked for us. We saw a consultant at Manchester Fertility over 5 weeks ago, already had all the test results before this and we’ve also had the recommended counselling appointment but I’m still waiting for a donor match. We were

DEPRESSION
My depression/anxiety is making me want to scream ! I do not feel sorry for myself. I am not saying "Why me?" I just want to feel normal again, not so emotionally vulnerable, I am not striving to be HAPPY I just want to be able to get back to a comfortable place and a general feeling of well being

Suffering from Anxiety
Hi my name is Carla just little bit over a week ago I suffered anxiety attack. I couldn't leave the house I felt so debilitated and robbed from just functioning normal so I made appointment with the doctor and also sought counseling along with medication. I never thought I would ever come to point in

Overcoming needle phobia
For as long as I can remember (I'm 33 now) I've been very uncomfortable with any sort of medical or dental procedure that involves needles and it's not got any better over the years. As a teenager I had to be held down by a friend to get the meningitis vaccination and skipped the last tetanus booster

So very lost...
recently I have found myself spiralling out of control and falling deep in to the depths of depression. I suffer from anxiety and have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyaligia (although am awaiting neurology appointment to see if it could be MS). I am a mother of 2 under 5's and work full time 12 hour

Hello All I guess this post is going to be a little self indulgent for which I apologise as I am positive there are people on this site who are in a far worse position than I am. Non the less this is my life and I am struggling at the moment. As I write this tears are falling and I am getting cross with

Overdosed on NDT without realising. Feel horrendous.
I'm posting here again because I am really, really struggling. I have just had the worst week I've had health wise in nearly 2 years. It would seem that I have been massively overdosing my Efra Thyroid. I upped my dosage following my discussion my Holistic Doctor at the start of October to 1 x 60mg

With all the meds I am on I would have thought sleep would be easier but NO this is the third night no sleep ! I thought at first it was because I have a new Parrot, I nod now and again during the day but not night's ! I sleep for probably 10/15 mins at a time then awaken with a start ,my fear of? ?

Learning a painful truth about myself
After a counselling session tonight, due to ongoing depression/anxiety issues, I realised that tinnitus has changed me into a bad tempered, easily irritable person. I always thought that I was coping with it yet I have let tinnitus change me for the worse, now the fight back begins, tinnitus can’t be
