Gabapentin or Pregabalin?
I know
mood
changes can be a side effect on either;
low
mood
is something I struggle with anyway, worse recently and although it could well be life I wonder if it’s the Gabapentin. Would appreciate people’s thoughts and experiences. Thank you.

how can I help my son with feeling depressed after his cardioversion two days ago which appeared to have gone well?
Being normally a very active man enjoying running, golf, footgolf, who enjoys his food and a drink or two, he’s feeling
low
in
mood
looking at the festive period coming up as he has been told to obviously abstain from all that he enjoys!

feeling low
Does anyone else have depression/
low
mood
at times? My knee ( OA bone on bone ) is giving me no rest with pain at the moment and am waking up through the night. It’s now beginning to cause pain on the right knee as well as am putting more pressure on it.

Hello To You All
My husband and I continue to eat low carb, about 4 years now. Any one else continuing? Rather disappointing that low carb doesn't have a higher profile in many countries. Any idea why? My husband has also been looking into the omega 3 omega 6 ratio in our foods and the absolute intake of omega 6.

I have also developed terrible anxiety and
low
mood
since all of this happened and my GP has said she thinks I have PTSD. I have spent 29 years ‘blacking out’ and now realised my heart has been stopping and how dangerous this was!

Self sabotage
I had a good day yesterday, my husband went away for two weeks but I am fine on my own. I cooked a nice diet friendly meal for myself. There was a small amount of wine in an open bottle so I had a glass, then decided to finish the wine another glass and a half. But then I just wanted to eat icecream,

AF 14 days late!
No period, I’m having hot sweats,
low
mood
and emotional (I’m usually never emotional at all, but cry for the smallest reasons). I had 4 months of prostap prior to my stimulation/egg collection and I feel similar to then. HCG tests negative and LH faint line? This is cycle day 45.

Low Carb or even Keto why is not recommended with low thyroid - can I control prediabetes with diet ?
Help please wise, kind people. I am autoimmune underactive and gluten intolerant but also pre diabetic. As thyroid stabilising and generally fine, I am now trying to sort the Pre diabetes and take it off the back burner. I have been reading around this on and off for ages and never got out of the

Meals for one, quick ideas please.
My other half is going to be away and I have a a couple of busy weeks -he normally cooks our evening meal. I have some things in the freezer and a few favourites I cook ’for one’ but would love some of your favourite quickish meal ideas. I eat salad for lunch every day and aim to be low carb but I eat

Newly diagnosed stage 4 prostate cancer, age 77, PSA in low 20 range. PSMA (type of PET scan) revealed metastasis to 7 bone sites, with intermittent hip pain alleviated with Tylenol. Occasionally short of breath because, I think, below normal hemoglobin, platelet and iron levels consistent with bone

Low carb diets
On top of everything else I'm now pre-diabetic. I wasn't prior to starting the steroids but as I'm now on 2 mg of Prednisolone a day and have been on 5 mg or less for over a year I suspect that Prednisolone is not the culprit. I've been looking at a diabetic website and it says that low carb is less

Fatigue after eating
Husband is getting very sleepy after all meals. His sugar is always below 100 when tested, he takes levothyroxine for low thyroid (waiting for over 2 weeks now on latest blood work and TSH results from PCP. *sigh* He's taking a statin (can't remember the name) and Tamsulosin. Current cancer treatment

signs of mild hypothyroidism?
Hi there, New to this forum 👋 grateful to be here 🙏 I’m wondering if anyone could shine some light on my thyroid test results. In March 2023 my TSH was 0.98 (range 0.27-4.2), and my T4 was 15.5 (range 12-22) - this was done with a private GP so sadly no T3. These bloods were taken after 12pm and

weight, diet and statins?
currently down to 5mg, generally chugging along ok, still working, but feeling occasional fatigue so assume I’m getting towards my own adrenals firing back up. Unfortunately I’ve put on about 25lbs over the last 15 months or so 😠 so looking to maybe start trying to lose some. About 3-4 years ago
