Relationship problems and suicidal thoughts
I just don't know what to do, as my ultra

and suicidal thoughts are creeping back in and although I get them sporadically throughout the year, it's the summer months that worry me most. My Parents want me to move back in with them.

Asthma anxiety
Hello everyone, I am just writing a post as I wanted to see if I am alone in this and whether anyone has any suggestions to help. I will give a bit of a backstory to this. I had mild asthma from the age of 13 however it wasn't serious enough that my parents never took me to get diagnosed. Fast forward

Is going gluten free worth it and achievable?
Hi, lots of times I see advice here to go gluten free. Be really interested to hear what people think. Is it’s really worth it and is it achievable? At the moment I’m far from gluten free. I love wholewheat pasta and sourdough. I tested negative for celiac disease but my genes were analyzed as part

9dpt and AF symptoms and low mood…needing positive vibes!
Hello, I’m currently 9dpt with an 5 day blastocyst (PGT-S/PGT-A tested) and I’m feeling really low as I’ve noticed AF symptoms. I know that’s it’s probably the progesterone playing havoc on my body (Currently on 1200mg Cyclogest and 8mg Progynova a day) but I’m struggling to keep a positive mindset

Not recurred in almost 5 years
I got regular bursts of self-resolving Afib since the age of 19, ten minutes here and there. During this time I was chronically low carb dieting and overexercising. My longest episode was in 2019, at age 29, where I woke up in it. Went to A&E and it self resolved about 10 hours later. Had PACs/PVCs since

working out fev1 as a percentage
Hi I've bought an asthma-1 Vitalograph FEV1 to monitor my asthma between appointments as I don't think peak flow really shows my asthma up very well. When I blow into it it just shows a number eg 3.87 , not a percentage as it doesn't measure FVC and there's no instructions in with it other than a diagram

Blood Tests
Hi, I have weird asthma, am on maximum therapy and wondered what effect high dose antihistamines and prednisolone have on your blood test results. Every time I ask my consultant I'm told it's irrelevant, also is our medication taken into account when we complete breathing tests? The technician who

Tired of all this
I try to keep positive and think happy thoughts but I have been bombarded with many pregnancy announcements lately and I have been waking up with

wondering if this will ever happen. Also I keep thinking if this doesn't work, do I have the energy for a fourth egg retrieval?

Still don’t really know if I have asthma or not
Hi, I know I’ve posted similar to this before but I suppose it’s because I don’t know where I stand in terms of breathing/ asthma status I do also have anxiety which I’ve received help for but I still feel on edge with the whole I might have asthma thing. I have had tests which haven’t revealed anything

Do you ever feel like you are choking on mucus?
I am a recently diagnosed asthmatic after a horrible experience two month ago when I was in hospital for two weeks. About a week and a half ago I got a cold that left me very snotty and has slowly moved to my chest. Yesterday, I found myself breathing noisily on inhale and exhale. It was quite frightening

peak flow is okay but struggling to breathe
is anyone struggling to breathe even if the peak flow doesn't drop much? My best is 550 on Symbicort plus Spiriva and I find that the peak flow doesn't drop below 470-500 even if I struggle to breathe with tight and burning chest? Sometimes even with confirmed chest infection and wheeze across chest
