Covid and Asthma
I am on day 7 of covid. It lowers my peak flow by 30 percent or so and makes me routinely breathless. The thing that gets me is that any asthma triggers then take my breathing very quickly into dangerous territory. So I am a bit confined to no activity, very irritating.

Hello lovely people, I was just recounting and filling in the time I've been away from this site - the absence due to my grandmothers passing - and it was becoming a bit of a novel, recounting the day to day details of the hospital etc so have decided to not post it as it may be triggering for others

I find that my asthma at present is very much triggered by an ever increasing sensitivity to dust. My preferred holiday destination at present is a youth hostel as there are no soft furnishings or carpets. I am embarked on a house decluttering programme, using the fact that a four course of pred, has

LDN for RLS??
I wonder if others know about LDN? I just found out that it maybe can help RLS. LDN, in case you’re unfamiliar, is “Low Dose Naltrexone”. It’s an older medication that has to be compounded into a tiny therapeutic dose for use “off label”. It’s a known to be both an anti-inflammatory medication and

VLDL results - confusing
For the last five years or so, I’ve had slightly high cholesterol , e.g. 5.7 mmol/l total, 3.4 LDL but good 1.9 HDL, 0.9 triglycerides and total/HDL ratio of 3. I get tested once a year or so. I’m not overweight and am active, etc., but I do want to bring that LDL down and made a few changes such as

Starting TMS Therapy
After I signed up for the TMS, I had a realization that I had changed my testosterone treatment the first of December and that a number of the symptoms I was having (fatigue,
low
mood
, brain fog, anxiety, etc...) were similar to how i felt before starting testosterone therapy so I went back to the clinic

struggling with UCTD -advice needed re PIP
I am aware how UCTD affects my
mood
. I find my
mood
really
low
when fatigue is at its worst. I try to practice mindfulness to accept and cope. I am a single mum, working part time. My work gives me a sense of purpose and I find it rewarding and meaningful.

Gallstones Newbie here seeking menu ideas 😁
My GP diagnosed gallstones 4 weeks ago after I suffered an attack and referred me for a scan at my local hospital for confirmation. She told me to go to A&E if the attacks get unbearable. I am yet to heard from the hospital with a date for the scan. I'm getting 3 or 4 attacks a week. Shoulder blade
