Ringworm Problems
Hello, I’m new to this forum and I need some help regarding Ringworm. I work in a hotel which requires me to pick towels and bedding up quite frequently, and I have eczema on my hands which leaves me with cuts on my hands quite often, and I imagine I caught ringworm from picking up towels etc without

2 year old toddler with Ataxia
Hi - I have a 2 year old who became very unwell almost 3 months ago. She lost her ability to sit stand speak and developed nystagmus. This happened while we were on holiday. As the weather was very hot, doctors immediately put her on a drip. She is an extremely stubborn and fussy child so cried her eyes

Update on Oxycodone
Hello all my restless friends. I said I would let you know how I fared with starting oxycodone. I have now been taking 5 mg. Longtec (oxycodone) for two weeks. This tablet is slow release over 12 hours. For the first few days I played about with the time of taking and have now settled on 8.00 p.m

Parkinson's and Lyme Disease
Hello. I am very new to the site. First post ever! I would like to know if anyone here has heard of the correlation between Parkinson's symptoms and Lyme Disease? Were you ever tested and diagnosed with LD? And if so, after taking antibiotics, did your Parkinson's get any better?

Update Pramipexole
Just thought I would give you all a quick update. It's been a year since I decided to wean myself off Pramipexole. Good news is I am still Pramipexole free! I just want to let others know it can be done, the first month was horrid. The withdrawal symptoms aren't very nice and at points I had been tempted

Weaning off pramipexole
I am weaning off pramipexole under the watch of an internist. Not my internist but someone I saw after hours because I’m desperate to get my meds figured out. I’d been taking hydrocodone for backup and it doesn’t work anymore. So am weaning off the pramipexole and stopped the hydrocodone. I’m also

“Safe” antidepressants

RLS Mistake
I really messed up, maybe this will help someone else. Had legs mainly under control with clonapin, lyrica & trazadone. I felt like I was augmenting on clonapin. Had some leftover Requip which I thought would help since it's been months since I augmented on it. Well, now my rls is coming on 2 hours

Pramipexole and anxiety
I’m quite sure that I have augmentation with my pramipexole. One thing I have noticed is increased anxiety. I’ve been on 0.25 x 3 in late afternoon for several years. I don’t even know what it feels like to be off the med. I use hydrocodone for backup. I think I could get by with just that after

Anyone experience increased allergic reaction to bug bites since having VM?
I had VM last May and It has taken best part of a year to feel back to my usual self. I moved to a hot climate last October and since then have had 5 episodes of cellulitis from bug bites. Could just be bad luck that I’m so allergic but wondering if the impact on my immune system from the VM could

Dyskinesia from pramipexole
Hello, First time poster here :) I've had great success with pramipexole for just over a year, but some months ago, I developd a tic that my doctor diagnosed as dyskinesia. She then switched me to ropinirole (Requip), which I have been taking for 3 nights. My question is this: How long can I expect

Travel Insurance
Does anyone have any recomendations on where to get travel insurance from ? I always used to get it through my bank but they won't insure me anymore because of my RA, I've also not long ago had knee replacement surgery so this may have gone against me too.

RSL & Reflexology
Hi All, Just wondered what thoughts were on reflexology for RSL. Mine sort of settled for a while when I started taking Pregabalin (200mg increased to 250mg recently due to breakthrough at night)and I also take co-codamol. My legs/ankles seem to be starting now before I go to bed so it's hard to settle
