I would love to know how to get off Mirapex

Hi Tara - I'm not taking either one, but PLEASE be careful about Ambien. There are many, many anecdotal stories about the things people have done on this medication - none of them good... - sleep driving, sleep sex, sleep cooking... . Not trying to scare you (or maybe I am), but please research it well before you use this... Hope you are getting some sleep....

How are you doing on the Ambien? Any side effects?

in reply to

It didn’t help, not much helps it seems during withdrawal

in reply to

Sorry you're struggling. Hope things smooth out soon!

(I was actually looking to see if you were experiencing the eerie side effect that I experienced whenever I took it, which was doing things you had no memory of. I'm SO glad to hear that this wasn't a side effect for you).

I am seeing a doc next week, Mirapex is horrid. I have however been weaning myself down.

If I can walk or move instead of taking the meds I do.

I still cant get past the evening or bedtime. Its an awful "needing" feeling.

Go luck.
