I am in need of help please. Some of you have seen my posts before and the recommendations I have appreciated BUT now I am desperate for a decision which my doctor is unable to commit to!! I have split Ropinirole 0.25mg tablets now for 8 weeks plus and still taking a 50mg Tranadol capsule. Nothing works

Coconut water
I read a post from a while back on here about a guy that had gotten RLS when he had a nasty case of the flu. He talked about how beneficial coconut water was for his RLS. I was skeptical of course, so I looked it up. Pregnant women use it sometimes for the potassium and everything. Since it’s packed

Some foods tasting soapy
I started noticing certain foods tasting like perfumed soap / liquid detergent two weeks ago. First it was pork foods. Then seasame oil (so soapy it made me gag) and peanut butter. Just now I had to spit out raw pepper as it also had exact same soapy flavour. It's not pregancy but I did have my Mirena

Still have to completely avoid triggers while on opioids?
So, with the possibility of a hospital admittance being in my future, I’m sure they’ll want to get me on medications for my stomach that will not agree with my legs. They’ll also probably have me eating a BRAT diet. I’m scared. Last night I woke up a bunch of times and I was restless and had nothing

Hello all - I saw the neurologist here in Seattle this past week about moving from Ropinirole to Buprenorphine due to augmentation. He decided I should move over to 900 mg Gabapentin before bed instead. I have been taking 300 mg of gabapentin 3 x daily for other reasons. During the discussion he

Partner suffered cardiac arrest
Last Saturday my partner suffered a cardiac arrest whilst out on a run. I was running separately and came across him getting CPR, luckily from an off duty cardiac surgeon, with the ambulance on the phone. He is 29 and very fit, we moved into a new flat a week ago and we were lugging stuff in no problem

CBD and THC
I still use CBD and THC for pain it works really well HOWEVER the prescribing doctors don’t realise we need very specific plants or it can make it worse. I have been on Nanibis it works well for pain the doctor changed it to a brand called spectrum from Canada and it overrode my buprenorphine. I thought

Telemetry EEG
We are currently trying to convince the hospital to give my partner a longer EEG (telemetry) than the standard 1-hour. He continues to suffer from long seizures and we are keen to understand why. The reason for a wish for telemetry is that he still has seizures but not on a hourly basis. It is therefore

Shingles - part 3
After much googling, I can see that this is indeed shingles even though I only have 5 spots. The GP was actually quite panicky, he told me to come down immediately and pick up Aciclovir, he said that 5 spots is probably just the start and it must be nipped in the bud and worse still I am to stop taking

Knee pain
So, at work today I developed a bit of pain behind my knee- it also had a sense of numbness around it. Just got in with the day, but sitting in the sofa tonight, it’s been more painful, and it’s been difficult to bed without tight pain. I asked my daughter to look and she said there is a lump behind

Thank you
I have had RLS for 20 years - it is a scourge. I am consistently shocked at how cavalier the medical community is about it. Not to mention ignorant. I have resorted now to CBD/THC gummies to sleep but I live in California so that is an option. I also use Hylanda homeopathic remedy which does seem to

Restless legs are worse from a foot massager
Why are my restless legs worse after using a foot massager? I got this massager to ease my restless legs. Instead, it’s worse.

THE NIGHTMARES HAVE BEEN THE WORST eek eek
I finished my withdrawal from Ropinirole the last week in Feb. 2020 . In March I felt pretty well until the nightmares started . They were horrific . I was afraid to be alone in broad daylight and going to bed was hellish.. At the time I was taking suboxone and gabapentin for RLS and having trouble
