LDH level during docataxel
Normal range is 120 to 240. LDH was in the high normal ( 230) prior to chemotherapy. Only 6 chemo sessions as MO suggested stopping after the 6th due to a real bad case of lymphedema in both legs and one arm ( the worse he has seen and after 2 months, it is not healed). Here are the LDH level after

A raised level of

New Year, Less Flab
Interestingly, what put the final nail in the coffin was a series of scientific trials on drugs which either reduce total cholesterol (statins),reduced
LDL
(statins and PCSK9 inhibitors), or increase HDL (statins and niacin). All of them do exactly what they say on the tin.

High Ferritin and High LDH - any thoughts?
My last blood test brought up strange results, which my doctor wants to 'discuss' with me. I'm seeing her on Monday. I have had high ferritin for over a year but recently it has been rising at an alarming rate, literally within days. I have had a cold/sore throat, so that has possibly elevated it somewhat

Anybody really good with blood test diagnostics?
I'll say right off the bat this isn't a P.A. issue (I don't think!), but I didn't know where else to post this and felt that the thyroid community & pernicious anaemia forums have the most expertise with blood tests, since their lives seem to be ruled by them! I have had high Ferritin for over a year

RA, PMR, MS or something else?
My
LDL
shoots up to 200 every time I stop the statins. This, despite having changed my diet, excluding everything that is know to raise cholesterol, veggie, sugarless, with all the nuts, berries etc that one should eat, plus the omega, B12 and calcium supplements.

Introducing myself
I have only been dabbling in fasting a couple of weeks, but am seeking like minded souls for support. I am a menopausal woman. I had a health scare in January (I haven't decided whether I want to share that detail yet) and was discharged in May by my consultant who advised me on a few lifestyle changes
