Medichecks results
Hi there, I posted last week re some very confusing low ranges for my TSH and T4 tests carried out by my GP. These were TSH 1.44 (range 0.33-5.6) and T4 15.4 (range 6.3-14). Well, I have just received my Medichecks results which I will put below. I will also put next to them what i received from Medichecks

Had a routine health check yesterday and going to record my stats here - to compare in the future. Hopefully they will improve due to my increase in exercise: BP 113/82 Pulse 83 Weight 74kg BMI 27.85 Cholesterol Total 4.89 HDL 1.37 Ratio 3.6 Cardiovascular Risk 1.5% All in all, not bad for 48 years old

Hello, all, I had my routine blood work yesterday and luckily, I can say that my numbers are holding steady. My hematologist seems happy with my results since they have improved so much from when I started seeing her last year. But I still have bouts of fatigue, shortness of breath, and sometimes feel

Hi, Just wonder if anyone has WBC shoot up after Neulasta. 3 days after chemo and Neulasta shot, Wbc was still at 1.6 and normal LDH. But 10 days after Neulasta shot, wbc shoot up to 50 level and LDH to 1600, which are both too high Just wonder if anyone has the same experience. Doctor said might

Hello. I posted on here a month ago asking for advice before an endo appointment. I was feeling very poorly - a lot of joint pain, brain fog, falling over, dizzy, ears ringing etc. Your advice was really helpful, thank you. I ended up having levothyroxine increased from 50 to 75mcg, liothyrinine

Has anyone tried Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for RLS?
Hi, I'm fairly new to the forum and have suffered with RLS for 50 years - but it has become a lot worse in the last 5 years. I have read with interest lots of posts regarding different treatments. I'm not at the stage where I want to take a powerful medication permanently so tried the Iron supplements

Can taking Bactrim make you neutropenic?
My husband has been on Ibrutinib for 2 years now, and has taking Bactrim and Acyclovir along with it. Up until four months ago, his numbers have been in the more normal range. He feels well, and had a good CT scan in June. But in the last month his WBC, neutrophils and platelets have fallen drastically

Ibrutinib and LDH
Wondering if it is normal for LDH to bounce around. On ibrutinib for 6 months. LDH at before treatment was 170, LDH 3 months ago 150, and now 200. Thoughts are appreciated

How do you decrease your LDL when you already exercise, don't eat red meat, and have a really healthy diet?
My
LDL
continue to climb; it is now 151. Although I would say I eat really healthy, every evening I enjoy a little bit of chocolate or ice cream with a cup of tea. Could these things be making the

Has anyone tried or researched low dose naltrexone for pain symptoms? From what I’ve read is it works like opioids. I’ve tried opioids once and didn’t seem to help. Just wondered if it may work a little different also. Shows that it helps with MS and neuropathy so possible. The last increase in Gabapentin
