Blood results - cholesterol?
I had a cholesterol blood test the other day at my GP's and results came back as: Total Cholesterol = 5.2 mmol/L HDL= 1.5 mmol/L
LDL
= 3.4 mmol/L Ratio = 3.5 serum non high density lipoprotein level = 3.7 mmol/L My GP said these results are satisfactory and no other action required.

Anti-cholesterol jab twice a year could herald the end of statins amid hopes treatment will get NHS approval within 18 months
Spectacular results from trials of an injectable drug called inclisiran show that it can slash 'bad'
LDL
cholesterol levels by more than 50 per cent after just two weeks, and that after the jab, levels stay stable for six months. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/high-cholesterol-jab-statins-tablets-research-doctors-heart-attack-strokes-a9089371

Is It Time to Retire Cholesterol Tests?
You can lower your
LDL
-P through diet (Mediterranean Diet) and lifestyle modification (daily exercise). Half of all heart attacks and strokes occur to people with normal levels of
LDL
-C, therefore lowering
LDL
-C will not necessarily reduce your CVD risk.

Dr Kendrick's - another new study - an interesting read
Which created headlines around the world – most of which failed to understand the difference between
LDL
(‘bad’ cholesterol) and non-HDL cholesterol. Which may, or may not, have been deliberately done.

Round 7 Cabazitaxel incoming
Rounds 1 to 3 easy Round 4 lowered mobility Round 5 and 6 low days are day 4 to 10 Holiday season in January so looks like I will ask oncologist for a deferral of Round 8 to give me more energy to enjoy a family visit. PSA now over 500 , still on ADT. LDH over a thousand but hopefully not accelerating
