RA any connection with liver problems
yesterday I was told I have a problem with my liver. I don't drink, well only at Christmas and New Year. Tomorrow I am having a ultrasound as my blood test result is 203, I was told normal reading is 4-50. I am on anti-tnf injections. Can I ask if anyone has had the same problem. Rhuemy said it is very

Does anyone have any experience with Pregabalina (Lyrica)?
I was on Amytriptyline for some time for neuropathetic pain even though I was on 50mgs it wasn't really working. I tried a Bustrans patch to which I reacted so the GP suggested Pregabalina, I've been on it for a month or so however it makes me feel rather whoozy & I'm nor sure it's helping with pain

Mini Pill Problems?
I've been on the mini pill (cerazette) for precisely a year now, and it has worked wonders! No periods = no pain (or only rarely at least), basically instead of taking the pill for 21 days and having a 7 day break, you take it every day and have no break, therefore I do not have the pain that comes with

I was confirmed as having fibromyalgia last night. I have had pain for years, my GP said its no wonder that Physio hasn't helped at all.
The pain is getting worse. I regularly take co-codamol and nortriptyline. I used to take TRAMADOL but have been told by the neurologist to stop taking these. Has anybody got any useful tips for a newbie to this condition.

How to diagnose an adenomyosis of uterus?
Hi I had laparoscopy in 2011 and been told that I had dense adhesion on my right pelvic area. I am in Japan now and seen two doctors. Both doctors told me that they couldn't see so much adhesion from ultra sound scan. Second doctor told me my uterus seems thick and I may have adenomyosis of uterus

Newly diagnosed and first post...
Firstly can I offer a heart felt thanks for all the information and first hand experiences you all kindly share on this forum. I have found this a godsend as I've tried to get my head around this disease. I thought my experiences, so far, might help others just diagnosed to know they are not alone as

VITAMIN D AND ASTHMA
I treated myself to a packet of jelly babies(as recommended on this site) and Hello magazine. There was an article in Hello about the effect of a high level of Vitamin D and better asthma control. I think someone else has mentioned this before. We need some sunshine...I take cod liver oil capsules

What happens at the pain clinic?
Hi all, went to the Gp today to sort out what I think is gout. He agrees it looks like it. He has put me on 50g diclofenac 3X a day and have to go for blood test on Tuesday. Praying it helps over the weekend! Have asked for a referral to a pain clinic as the specialist said an op is too risky and it

Help
What can I do to ease my constant back pain? I've tried paracetamol, ibuprofen, co-codamol. I've been prescribed naproxen by the gp but not willing to take that often as it keeps me awake throughout the night which I cannot be doing with as I already have an almost 2yr old who wakes throughout the night
