potassium which helped greatly. I can't stay on it long because I get jittery. But now It doesn't help as good as it did and every time I eat, my heart flips go crazy. Now I'm afraid to eat at all. So I increased my metroprolol and ativan to keep calm.

Using CBD/THC with PD
Hey all, I'm concerned with using THC/CBD with my HWP. I read an article that stated that people with PD should avoid both forms and now I'm a bit worried. Of course, I cannot find that darn article now, but I have been giving my husband a 10mg gummy at night (Wana Stay Asleep) for a couple of months

CBN for sleep
I wrote previously about my goal to try CBN for sleep. Nothing helped me much with sleep. I had tried pretty much everything recommended including supplements and prescription meds. I bought some gummies with 10 mg each of THC CBD and CBN. I believe that these helped so I was motivated to make my own

Lexapro and RLS
Has anyone with RLS started taking Lexapro for anxiety? If yes, did it have any affects on your RLS? My RLS is pretty well controlled at this time with minimal drugs (100 mg Gabapentin) after finally getting off Pramipexole. I also use Melatonin, Valarian Root, and CBN. But most helpful, I think,

Cod liver oil tablets
Hi everyone, I’m just curious to know if any of you take cod liver oil and if so has it affected your gut/ibs in any way. I have just decided to try them because of my age (the menopause is causing me joint pain) but I’m always cautious with everything I take incase of a stomach upset.Thank you 😊

Heart Supplements
Hello, I'm currently on warfarin, omeprazole, amlodipine and valsartan. Besides trying to exercise and watch my diet, I'm thinking of consuming some heart supplements to strengthen my heart. Has anyone try anything good and can share? How about products from NatureFarm? Or any other supplements?

Cod Liver Oil Supplements with Prednisolone
Been on prednisolone (UK) since 01/11/2022. I'm currently taking 3mgs/4mgs on alternate days. 3mgs was too much for me. Anyway if on pred, can we take cod liver oil supplements please? The tablets are ginormous so my husband has bought the liquid. Don't want to start unless it's OK to do so. Any opinions

Low ferritin
I was diagnosed with PV in November 2020. Initially, I had a few phlebotomies to reduce my hematocrit but thankfully I've passed my last three blood tests and haven't had one since January 2023. I take aspirin, a spoonful of cod liver oil and half a tin of grapefruit every day to keep my haematocrit

A Neophyte's Experience with a Gummy
Some of you might be interested in my gummy experience. I do not advocate anything here, but just want to share a new experience. Outside of four episodes in my eighty-four plus years, I have not used marijuana or other drugs beyond alcohol, coffee, maté from the Pampas of Argentina, and whatever uppers

supplements and lifestyle
Hello guys, I’ve found the advice from you folks to be really helpful since I’ve been on here moaning and groaning so I just wondered if any of you have experienced any measurable improvement in arthritis symptoms using supplements and lifestyle changes? I have just been recommended for TKR surgery

endometriosos, adenomyosis, pcos
I started my periods when I was 13 years old. I have suffered with painful periods for as long as I remember. I started to realise there was a problem when I was in pain throughout the whole of my cycle not just when I was on my period. This would cause me to cry and be in a lot of pain, but also bleed

Is my pain normal & what to expect from first Endo Appointment.
HI There I am 43 and back in Early July I had been really suffering with abdo, hip & back pain. It all ended with me collapsing in my GP Office, then into A&E on Morphine, Ibruprofen, IV Antibiotics and a week admitted to a ward. Then I had basically 4 weeks signed off work due to pain. Since then

seeing GP tomorrow. Wish me luck
I have an appointment tomorrow evening. I am going armed with printouts about iron and RLS, medications list. Also going to request change off Sertraline to Trazadone. I took co-codamol last night and squirmed for a couple hours but actually got over 6 hours sleep and slept in the same bed as my husband
