potassium which helped greatly. I can't stay on it long because I get jittery. But now It doesn't help as good as it did and every time I eat, my heart flips go crazy. Now I'm afraid to eat at all. So I increased my metroprolol and ativan to keep calm.

CBN for sleep
I wrote previously about my goal to try CBN for sleep. Nothing helped me much with sleep. I had tried pretty much everything recommended including supplements and prescription meds. I bought some gummies with 10 mg each of THC CBD and CBN. I believe that these helped so I was motivated to make my own

Lexapro and RLS
Has anyone with RLS started taking Lexapro for anxiety? If yes, did it have any affects on your RLS? My RLS is pretty well controlled at this time with minimal drugs (100 mg Gabapentin) after finally getting off Pramipexole. I also use Melatonin, Valarian Root, and CBN. But most helpful, I think,

A Neophyte's Experience with a Gummy
Some of you might be interested in my gummy experience. I do not advocate anything here, but just want to share a new experience. Outside of four episodes in my eighty-four plus years, I have not used marijuana or other drugs beyond alcohol, coffee, maté from the Pampas of Argentina, and whatever uppers

Cod Liver Oil Supplements with Prednisolone
Been on prednisolone (UK) since 01/11/2022. I'm currently taking 3mgs/4mgs on alternate days. 3mgs was too much for me. Anyway if on pred, can we take cod liver oil supplements please? The tablets are ginormous so my husband has bought the liquid. Don't want to start unless it's OK to do so. Any opinions

Low ferritin
I was diagnosed with PV in November 2020. Initially, I had a few phlebotomies to reduce my hematocrit but thankfully I've passed my last three blood tests and haven't had one since January 2023. I take aspirin, a spoonful of cod liver oil and half a tin of grapefruit every day to keep my haematocrit

supplements and lifestyle
Hello guys, I’ve found the advice from you folks to be really helpful since I’ve been on here moaning and groaning so I just wondered if any of you have experienced any measurable improvement in arthritis symptoms using supplements and lifestyle changes? I have just been recommended for TKR surgery

Extreme fatigue. Any solution?
This is wiping me out. Honestly. It tends to start at about 5 pm and lasts for about 2/3 hours. I used to take Whey protein to counter it but this appears to not hit the spot. I’m utterly exhausted when this phenomenon strikes and am wondering if anyone has any ideas? I take B1 daily (Superior Source

Coronary calcium channel score
Is statin prescribing linked to Coronary Calcium score? In late 60's my recent Angiogram was fine but had a CCS score of 25. From what I've read, Statins do not eliminate existing plaque, but stop it getting worse. Always ate healthy, since a child being faddy, cut off every bit fat from meat, wouldn'teat

Vitamin D Result
Hi, I’ve been supplementing with 4,000 iu Vit D and here’s my latest result. I take co factors of Vit K2-MK7 and magnesium. I have 2 queries I hope you can help me: 1) Is 127nmol/l sufficient (I have hypothyroidism and I have a poor conversion) 2) Should I be adding Vit A? I’ve read that Vit D

Naproxen for fracture pain
I think I’ve had another fracture in lower back. GP referred me for urgent X-ray which takes 2 weeks. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen not doing much for pain and I’m extremely sore and stiff. Try to keep moving as sitting doesn’t do it any good at all. I’ve been prescribed Naproxen and Omeprazole and not

GP visit
Hi there. I've had PMR/GCA for 10 years which once diagnosed was reasonably managed until 2018 when having tapered to 3.5 mgs, I was told to stop Pred within a fortnight by my rheumatologist who was confident it had gone. The resulting flare was worse even than the initial onset and after a good deal
