Moved around
My husband has a new dialysis manager that’s very young and hasn’t been a manager for long. She has the center in an uproar by moving people around daily each treatment and changing the doctor’s prescription of medications on the machine. It’s so frustrating to hear my husband talk about it and I feel

Peak flow readings
Good morning all. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Heart Failure and I’ve been asked to use a peak flow meter to check my lungs. Over the last week my average is around 575 (I’m a 6ft - 68 years old- male). I think this is ok and shows my breathlessness is caused by my Heart Failure. My question is

Where do I go from here? Afib or arythmia any difference?
Editing my post as no replies.Never known this but maybe too muddled. Until 31st of January I had Paroxysmal AF with only 2 attacks in 18 months. This changed from 31st January. At first a typical afib attack .Feeling faint, dizziness, unable to walk around the house without being breathless. This

Follow up on my post Diflucan issue.
As I wrote in another post the Diflucan given to me for thrush seem to have reduced my adrenal function to the point where I needed to go back up to 10 mg for a few days. This was accompanied by very low blood sugar. So I tried to go down after about three days on 10 mg going down a milligram a day 9,8,7

Recommendations to stop feeling sick with heart failure?
Still waiting for the final part of node ablation and switching on of CRT device. Implanted 8 weeks ago and still no news of the next bit. Rang hospital today and they could not tell me anything. Just got to keep waiting. Even though the EP casually said just give me a ring if you feel unwell and I’ll

Kidney stones and ibs
I believe there’s a link between kidney stones and ibs and other troubles in this area. Over the last 18 months I’ve had 6 treatments of lithotripsy. Finally my last scan said they were clear. Hooray I thought, it was short lived as the rest of the letter informs me, “ we have noticed a little deterioration

Let’s compare notes re: Covid vaccine
Hi all, just wanted to compare notes regarding the Covid vaccine. I’ve seen a lot of discussions but in addition to the need for advocating, I’m curious what you are being told from your transplant teams. I asked a million questions in my appointment today and feel hopeless leaving with no answers.

which took him out of every possible trial. They said our Henry Ford oncology doctors are following the right path and that gave us confidence. Which brings calm.

I received a letter from SSA terminating my Medicare benefits. I am not able to work. What do I need to do to get help to pay for my medications?

Parathyroid Adenoma
Does anyone here have any experience with this? During an ultrasound of my thyroid an incidental finding of a small lesion was found which the doc says suggests parathyroid adenoma. My calcium levels were slightly low and then normal on my recent bloods.

Alcoholic liver cirrhosis and kidney failure
Hi, I am new to this site. My husband (age 42) was admitted to the hospital in February, as his blood results showed a very high bilirubin count and high CRP. He was yellow and also he had a distended abdomen. However, a day later he was back at home with some antibiotics and laxatives. Since discharge
