Kidney stones and ibs

I believe there’s a link between kidney stones and ibs and other troubles in this area. Over the last 18 months I’ve had 6 treatments of lithotripsy. Finally my last scan said they were clear. Hooray I thought, it was short lived as the rest of the letter informs me, “ we have noticed a little deterioration of your kidney function and that a blood test was needed to check this and to see if it was stable. Ahh freaking out but this wasn’t what I was expecting. Anyone else been told this? I’m sure tho the ibs is improving since the stones are gone
