I am still yet to be seen for my larcascopy to determine whether I have umbilical endrimitriotious, it’s been over a year now and I’m still just being left in the dark! Had my scan back in March and haven’t even heard from my gynaecologist still. Has anyone managed to get there operation via NHS?
Also in terms of fertility has Anyone or known of anyone to get pregnant whilst having umbilical endrimitriotious as I know this is quite a rare problem?

Hi, I have umbilical endometriosis and will be having an operation to remove it later this month on the NHS. At the same time they are going to do a laproscopy to check for endometriosis elsewhere and also a dye test to check my fallopian tubes are clear. At the moment they don't know if any of my other organs are affected.
Personally I haven't been able to conceive after 2 years of trying so I suspect I have endo elsewhere which is affecting my fertility. Although I've done quite a lot of research and it is still possible for people to get pregnant with this type of endo, it just depends where else it has spread to.
I ended up chasing the hospital through my GP as the waiting was severely affecting my mental health and they were able to chase up the consultant on my behalf. As you say it's very rare and bleeding from your belly button every month is just an awful thing to deal with.
Personally I would advise to keep chasing and keep pushing even if it makes you feel uncomfortable. Hope that helps in some way.
Thank you for the reply that really helps! I’m literally in the exact same situation as you. I also need the dye test to see if my tubes are blocked. I have been trying for two years and nothing so that’s why I’m worried as the hospital have just been putting me on a waiting game.
I have chased up the consultant they basically just keep saying due to Covid. I was meant to go in for it January but they cancelled last minute! But yes I think the aim is to chase. I totally get they are overwhelmed but my concern is I have basically been self diagnosing myself as no one has give me a answers until I have the op, I’m worried it’s getting worse.
A little bit of advise tho, I started doing keto diet and exercising regularly and for the past three month the bleeding hasn’t been as bad! Also my stomach does swell and I have pain but again it seems to be more manageable since Iv been doing keto and exercise....thought this may help!
