My husband hasCKD. I’m so scared
Hello everyone! I’m really scared for my husbands life. He is 45 years old and his primary has just diagnosed him with CKD. He has GFR of 70. Doctor really scared us by telling us that at his age he would properly require Dialysis and a kidney transplant. We have an appointment to see a specialist

Low triiodothyronine levels correlate with high B-type natriuretic peptide levels in patients with heart failure
An association between low T3 and cardiac disorders. They appear to very responsibly avoid unwarranted conclusions - which came first? - but at least the question is being asked. [i] • Open Access • Published: 08 November 2021

creatine ?
I have a question please - have tried, but without success to find an answer : I have a good eGFR result, but my creatine is high - I am sticking to a low protein diet which has helped raise my eGFR but has no affect on my high creatine level? What can I do to bring my creatine level down ? Also,

Covid and Decreased eGFR
I am 74 and my e GFR has been decreasing for years but no dr. ever brought my attention to
kidney
failure
. I also have Hashimoto's and genetic high homocysteine so inflammation is an issue.

Kidney

. When you drink rum over ice it can give you Liver failure. When you drink Whiskey over ice it can give you Heart problems. When you drink Gin over ice, it can give you brain problems. Apparently, Ice is really bad for you.

Can Too Much Sleep Hurt You?
Hi -- I am 73, have mild
kidney
failure
, a lung disease, and since 2018 AFIB and mild heart failure. Even before the heart problems I was always tired. Now some days I am good for nothing. I want to sleep so much. I sleep so great & can fall asleep in like a minute.

Still i am in stress… my mom had OC 2017, that 4 years silent, and may 2021 it was back. throughout the abdomen and lymph nodes of the abdomen, around the liver, she was treated with the same platinum chemo. Do anyone have in first recurrence have same chemo as in first time? I think it worked very good

My dog is dick
My dog, who is my best friend and always there for me when I'm not feeling well and especially when anxiety takes over is in the last stages of
kidney
failure
. I'm so sad and depressed right now. Who will be there for me when she's gone? Friends don't understand anxiety.

Unexplained deterioration of GFR
Good morning, I’m a 43 year old female and am awaiting for my blood results taken to try and understand why my GFR has fallen from 73 which it was this time last year. It had dropped to 56 in July and now it’s 53. These are the only numbers I have. My urine isn’t showing any protein at the moment.

Covid-19
Has anyone with kidney transplant and Covid shots caught Covid? If so how did you do? This is my fear as I don’t know how my body will react. I am very scared to go out for fear of losing my donated kidney.

Anyone have ablation for asymptomatic afib/aflutter?
Hi. I appreciate the great answers and support from my previous question on this forum. I know the main reason for ablation is to eiminate afib, improve QoL and hopefully get off of the meds. This may be a stupid question but are there many people with asymptomatic afib/aflutter and heartrate of 70-

Low kidney function
Just sitting by the fireplace, doing nothing. My feet are swollen & red this morning. Doctors tell me my feet are swelling due to low kidney function? They have double my Diuretic, and still is not removing fluid. Waiting on test results from yesterday to determine which way to go next? They are not
