Has anyone decided against treatment
Hi, put a post up yesterday but I was just wondering if anyone in this group has ever decided not to go ahead with IUI or IVF, we don't know what our options are yet but was just interested to hear other people's decisions and how they decided x

CONTRACEPTION HELP
Hello, Could anyone help me? I’m really debating what to do and would like some advice. I recently gave birth a couple months ago and then I began to start taking the progesterone only pill. My options are limited with contraception due to migraines and an extensive family history of breast cancer.

Feel like my body is rejecting my copper coil. Is this normal?
I have had my copper coil in for 10 months now. I get random terrible pains, not abdominal, but vulva cramps, where I can’t move. And then also , mid month I get period like pains in the lower belly that I think are around the time of ovulation. I know some people get them but I didn’t have ovulation

Time scales
I had my op 3/4 years ago now, had a laparoscopic ablation which seemingly did nothing at all. It took until a couple of days ago to convince my GP to give me stronger painkillers than paracetamol and ibuprofen. Whilst the flares aren't everyday, the ones I get each week are awful and are making work

Follow up to my first post - progress!
First of all I want to say thank you to all the advice people have given me. I almost cried when I read peoples posts because it felt like I was being listened to. I feel like I've gained alot more insight and the book that was recommended to me really helped! I had my smear examination yesterday and

Private IUI waiting time?
Looking for how long the wait list is for IUI privately in Glasgow (or anywhere really just trying to get an idea) or a time line of what's involved. We will use donor sperm. Trying to think of when myself and my partner need to save up for? Thanks Mo

Gyne appointment
Hi everyone Well another wasted gyne dr appointment. I’d been referred by another dr for a coil to be fitted. I turned up and there were 5 people in a tiny room. The dr starts to explain about the coil the same pros/cons convo that I’ve heard before. I stopped him mid flow. I told him I’ve not had a

New here, Help with test results please
Hi, Read lots of posts but this is my first time posting. Brief history, I am 46 years old and was first diagnosed hypothyroid and B12 deficient in 2014 when my periods were reversed (heavy bleeding 28 days a month, not bleeding 4 days). Having a coil fitted stopped this but I know if it was removed

Feeling lost and confused!
Helo, Yesterday I went for a Ultrasound Scan and the lady said that both my ovaries were enlarged and were polycystic. The doctor rang today saying that I had cysts in my ovaries but otherwise I'm fine no need to worry about anything. I went on to tell him that I suffer from very bad acne, Excess

Vivid nightmares
Hi all! I’m on my second round of IUI, the first was not successful. This time round I’m not feeling any different - except I’ve been having pretty vivid nightmares the last couple of nights, I did my Ovitrelle injection on Friday 27th, then these dreams started Saturday and Sunday. I never normally

Suspected endo?
Hi all, I’ve been suffering for many years with pain! So I have a 12 year old son and after him I had the mirena coil put in because most pills didn’t work for me I’d bleed really heavy for weeks and be in so much pain, tried the injection also didn’t suit so only option apparently was the coil, 8 years

ICD - Unbelievable?
My hospital MD team decided on an ICD. Fitted May 2019. No problems since. Great! Real problem is - I phoned Medtronic to check a reading or two to be sure that it had been working OK. It turns out that the ICD was never ever registered to the hospital! Unprotected by the monitor for two and a half

Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with fibroids a few years ago advised to have the Merina coil fitted. This worked for almost 2 years until I started experiencing very heavy bleeding again. Had a scan that showed the fibroids had grown and that new ones had appeared and that one had pushed the coil out
