Safe? Or not?
I have had an ICD for three years now. No problem at all. Trouble is, I'm down for a colonoscopy. Is the procedure still safe for those with an ICD? Worried!

Copper coil problems or normal?
I had the copper coil fitted just over a week ago. I was expecting bleeding from it but I'm experiencing some significant blood loss. I can only describe it similar to blood loss after giving birth. I'm not really getting pain, but I'm feeling a lot of lower abdomen discomfort which radiates down my

Josh Downie has Fatal Heart Attack at 24
A common question with most forms of heart disease is why me, I am too young, etc. Josh Downie's unfortunate death at 24 shows that heart disease can strike at any age. I know someone who had stents at 30 and someone else who was fitted with an ICD at the same age. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire

Mirena at the time of birth
A consultant told me I can have Mirena(
IUD
) when I have a c section as it’s unable to get it at the moment due to covid if you wanted it later time. Slightly concerned as normally it’d be the best to have 6-8 weeks after the birth.

Late period after failed transfer
Hello, It was my fist IVF Cycle, I took a small doses of gonal and in the ponction we got 8 folicules, 5 fertilized and 3 made it to day 3 , all the 3 were 8AA , we did freeze two and did one fresh transfer, unfortunately 14 days later the blood test showed no pregnancy, so I stopped the progesterone

Does anyone have an insight into when it might be possible to have a copper coil removed during COVID?
Would like to get my copper coil removed after 2.5 years to begin to try to conceive but nhs advises on their website that it might not be possible at the moment?

ovulation before egg collection
Hi, I am just home after egg collection. I have DOR so they did a scan pre op as i only had 2 follicles. 1 had ovulated already and they weren’t able to get an egg from the other one. They did then do IUI after but i’m not holding out much hope for that. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone

Hello everyone, So I had my gynae appointment and they told me to ring my doctors to go on the Combined Pill. After speaking with the doctor, I am unable to go on the combined pill due to migraines. They tried to change my mind about the coil but I’m not changing my mind. It’s a no from me. They all

Living with AF and ICD unit
I have had a heart condition for the last 6 years and suffering from AF and now have an I CD unit fitted. I was coping really well before having my ICD but I’m struggling with getting back on track with fitness. I love to swim, walk and be active. Been 6weeks since my operation. Would love to know more

So 13dp IUI transfer and I did a test today which was negative. I felt sad and disappointed. I cried and sat with those feelings for a while. I can't remember where I read or heard this, but this journey to becoming a parent is like; there's this job that you know you'd be amazing at, but nobody will

What treatments have you had for endometriosis?
I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year after a laparoscopy and ablation. I was advised after to take the mini pill as I get migraines and can't take the combined. My symptoms kept getting worse and it was decided by me and my GP to try the Mirena coil. I had it fitted 3 weeks ago and know I need

Hi I was diagnosed with endometriosis over 10yrs ago as I was suffering with chronic pain and bad periods. After years of drs appointments they found endo (stage 1) after a lap. Since then I’ve been left with no further aftercare or checks is this normal? I’ve had a lot of pain over the last few years
