ICD implant does it impact other types of surgeries
My dad had an ICD implant last October and he’s awaiting a hip replacement operation, does anyone know if a cardiologist needs to be present during the op and or do they need to consider /prepare anything different when you have an ICD fitted and have other surgery procedures. Thank you in advance!

Unexplained pain
Her Gynocologist recommended an
IUD
which helped with the bleeding but the pain is so bad all of the time with spasms. She is 19 now and can’t work. She has pain all of the time not just monthly. She has had laparoscopic surgery to look for endometriosis but none was found.

First Laparoscopy Yesterday
Hi everyone. I had my first laparoscopic surgery yesterday. I have had extremely painful periods for 10 years, frequent urination for 4 and bowel and gastronomy issues for 2. I was told yesterday that I only have stage one endometriosis and this wouldn’t explain my situation. The surgeon wasn’t very

No endo
Hi guys! You have all been so amazing and I am just writing to see if there is anyone else in the same boat now. I've just been for a lap and they have said it is clear. I am obviously incredibly greatful not to have endo however, my symptoms still exist and I feel like I am about to be pushed into

Hi everyone, this is the first time I’ve written on a forum, I just really need some reassurance that the dr is not giving me.
My periods have always been heavier and a little painful on the
IUD
but I’ve kind of gotten used to it! However recently my periods have become much longer, and I’m bleeding in between Periods. It’s really worrying me as it’s never happened before. Can anyone else relate to this???

Endometriosis and Ivf success
Hi all, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo a few years back through diagnostic laproscopy. Was immediately put on visanne to stop my period. I came off it end of 2019 as I started trying for a child. During my last scan doc said my endo is back. He found a small adhesion on my womb. Not sure of the

What lies ahead?
Good morning everyone My cardiologist rang me yesterday. MRI showed that my heart is working at reduced capacity and there’s scarring on my heart tissue. It’s one of 2 things..... Coronary heart disease or Cardiomyopathy, what my brother died from a year ago aged just 41. He’s swaying towards Cardiomyopathy

Alarming blood results. Worried sick!
Hi I’ve just turned 47 and am on my sixth year of Merina Coil. I love it and haven’t had a period for 6 years now! Over the last few months I’ve felt quite anxious for no reason, had trouble sleeping and getting hot flashes on and off. None of my symptoms have been severe, but the sleeping was distressing

Mirena Coil - Changes To Side Effects???
Hi, I'm new here. I've had my Mirena Coil 23months - Can side effects just change out of nowhere? It took around 8months for my bleeding to settle (I had irregular bleeding after giving birth to my 2nd child) this is the only thing that seems to have settled it down, I do sometimes get a brown discharge

Still no relief
So i finally had my laparoscopy about a month ago to have endo removal and also cyst removed. My pain however has only slightly been improved by what im assuming is the cyst being removed and taking away that pressure pain. I am currently taking pregabalin and zapain when needed and also had my coil
