Endo??
fast forward to a year later, I had a serious boyfriend and kept forgetting to take my pill so december 2019 i decided to get the Kyleena
IUD
placed. I thought it would be great I wouldn’t have to worry about taking a little pill every day I was wrong!....

Pain with a vengeance!
Hey, Haven't written on here for a while, ill shorten my story. October 2018 I was diagnosed with Endometriosis after having a lap done, which they then fitted a mirena coil. Took my body a fair few months to get used to it tbh, I no longer get periods and when I do they aren't blood anymore, just random

Irregular bleeding after coil removal. Help
I had the mirena coil removed at the start of August ( a year after I got it put in) to try for a baby. It's now October (over 3 months after it was removed), but no luck yet. Straight after the coil was removed I bled for around a week/ 8 days. In September my period was 9 days long and just now in

Roaccutane
Hi everyone, I’ve been on roaccutane since July, unfortunately upping my dose messed my joints up so I’m on a low dose and will be on it a bit longer. I started taking the mini pill (as the ladies know we have to go on contraception) but my body hates not having a period. I’ve been on it since feb

I'm new here
Hi I was giagnosed with fibroid years ago as I had heavy periods, had a mirina coil fitted and the periods stopped. Just recently I have been suffering with really bad lower back pain which is not linked to an injury. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to alleviate the pain without drugs? Thank you

A bit of hope for those with low AMH and high FSH ...
Hi Ladies I just wanted to share some positive news which might give others in a similar position some hope ... With low AMH and high FSH we were never expected to achieve high numbers of eggs at collection when starting out with IVF, but we were left feeling really disheartened when only ONE follicle

BFN- OTD tomorrow
I have been up since 4am and taken 2 tests and it’s a BFN. I am 10dp5dt today and I have to go for my bloodtest tomorrow. I am so gutted. I am doing IVF because we are a same sex couple. I have high AMH and am pretty healthy in general. I know it sounds a bit silly but I had honestly never considered

Am I giving a wrong self diagnosis or is this a genuine cause for concern?
I have had an
IUD
put in which I know can cause heavier, longer and more painful periods, however I had this inserted a year and a half ago and I am still experiencing the same symptoms.

Horrible pain, again!!
Hey guys I’m sorry for ranting. I’m just reaching my wits end today!! Had my coil put in when I had my surgery about 6 weeks ago. The first two weeks were utter hell, I was in A&E because the cramps were worse than I have ever had them. They then settled down after a couple of weeks. Now I am starting

New Diagnosis, feeling lost
Hello, I was finally officially diagnosed with endometriosis last Tuesday via a laparoscopy. My surgeon said my endometriosis was superficial and he was able to remove and treat well with ablation which is good news I think.. He also mentioned that having my coil (fitted previously) in place will help

An awful lot going on!
Hello everyone, I'm hoping to get some advice from anyone who has had similar experiences to my own with regards to my many health issues. Some background as follows.. I have inherited Cardiomyopathy which was controlled well by drugs for the last 15 or so years. Back in 2018 my condition had worsened
