Changing from IUI to IVF
Well, we are having changes again.... at first it was going to be an IUI but today I had an appointment with the doctor and we have decided to go directly to in IVF. I am a bit frustrated that sometimes I have to be the one forcing them to check things more carefully. This change is because I asked

Advice removing coil? And trying for a baby?
I have been told today that I should try for a baby sooner rather than later, I had the coil fitted a year ago to help with my endo and I have been very lucky and it's helped. Has anyone had the Marina coil and how long did it take to get pregnant,(I know we are all different but I need to work stuff

Uninsurable
Morning All After my 2019 heart attack put all my plans on hold, I've recently managed to move into my first property. However, I'm finding that trying to get accepted for even the most basic of life insurance is proving impossible. Does anyone know of any insurers that specialise in the following issues

My clinic is reluctant to go through iui and insisting to use our frozen donor egg embryos. Can you girls please recommend a clinic (in UK) for iui? Secondly, as my hubby has vasectomy n his sperms are already with the clinic. But the clinic told me that his sperms are not good for iui. Can someone solve

Date for ICD
Hi I’ve had my date for implantation of ICD and reality has set in. I am really anxious about how it could affect my life having just returned from holiday swimming and body boarding and long coastal walks! Not bad for a 64 year old. I had been relatively fit until 5 years ago when I started with AF

Update.
Had my lap yesterday which found NO endometriosis but confirmed my adenomyosis as my uterus was thick. Surgeon said for women my age (24) the extent of my andeomyosis is more seen in middle aged women. Gave me a coil to help with the adeno. However they also found scar tissue lesions on my bowel hence

Update and advice please - new blood results
So I started levothyroxine about 4 months ago. A couple of months at 25mg. Then onto 50mg. At the time my vit D was low at 22. And my cholesterol high at 8.1mmol and my triglycerides at 6.45. My endo put me on fenofibrate to bring the triglycerides down. My latest results attached. Please note,

Your experience on the Mirena or Jaydess coil?
Anyone had experiences on the
IUD
/IUS mirena or jaydess coil contraception? I want to get it but very worried about the insertion procedure and overall side effects. Was getting it fitted painful? Did you experience any side effects on the coil? Any info would be a great help thanks!

Mirena coil and leg pain
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice. I was diagnosed with rectovaginal endometriosis stage 3 in early April. At the same time as the laparoscopy, I had the Mirena coil fitted. It has taken a while to settle down and I’ve had random bleeding between periods etc. Actual periods have been lighter though

Mirena Coil replaced
Hi I’m getting my Mirena coil replaced today as it’s been over 5 years since my first one. It’s been like night and day for me on the coil, no periods, minimal pain, even found it easier to keep weight off. My question is, has anyone found after getting their coil replaced it didn’t work as effectively

My wife has been discharged from hospital
I must firstly say a big thank you to all that have replied to my last posts. My meeting with the consultants was unimpressive as they were basically trying to cover their arses. The gastroenterologist didn't really remember my wife's history of numerous bleeds, blamed the on duty surgeon for not doing
