I had my op 3/4 years ago now, had a laparoscopic ablation which seemingly did nothing at all. It took until a couple of days ago to convince my GP to give me stronger painkillers than paracetamol and ibuprofen.
Whilst the flares aren't everyday, the ones I get each week are awful and are making work and uni very difficult.
I have the coil, got it just over a year ago now. I don't want to give up on it, but at what point do I accept I need to ask for another laproscopy? And if it is time, can I have it with the coil still in?
So many questions that I should probably ask my go and in turn my gynae consultant

I’d agree in getting a referral, look up local consultants that are experienced with endo. If you’ve been diagnosed GP should automatically refer to and endo centre. Look at the NICE guidelines. Endo UK has some great consultation advice. Hopefully, 🤞, you won’t have any issues. Start jotting now notes/symptoms, it’s amazing how you add to it, and makes things clearer for you.
