Crt-d lead
I'm going into my 5th week post crt-d lead implant would the lead have settled in now, as I am still very anxious about movements and stuff as the uncomfortable feeling from the incision has started to ease I've found myself doing more stuff not over doing it but doing more stuff than I've been able

Contraceptive whilst on Decapeptyl - do I really need one?
Has anyone else been in this situation and what were you advised about contraception? Iāve been on Decapeptyl injections for 8 years and these have successfully managed by endometriosis. I have no pain or other symptoms whatsoever now. I get bone scans every 3 years to check my bone density and Iāve

Stupid question but...
Why don't all endo sufferers who aren't TTC on the pill to stop the monthly bleeding? Surely bleeding each month just creates more endo, so the first thing to do would be stop the bleeding? My Dr is recommending the coil which "might" stop my periods, it also "might" make me bleed really heavily for

Question about ultrasound and anyone else suffering the Irish healthcare system
Does ultrasound actually show anything other than if you are pregnant? I have quite advanced endometriosis and all I've had are ultrasound and the one lap that diagnosed me in 2018. I'm in pain and bloated and fed up with the constant BS from Irish medical professionals, after paying ā¬200 euros for a

How to decide whether to have a hysterectomy
Hi, I'm newly diagnosed with stage 4 endo including 6 cm cyst and endo on anterior rectal wall. I've seen a private Dr who has advised I'd need surgery rather than just trying hormone treatment and my options are either a lap to remove what they can or a full hysterectomy. I'm 45, so fertility isn't

What larks! Somebody is making a fortune off me with sales of poly pockets! Anyway, the letter just repeated most a conversation Iād had with the electro cardiologist. While he didnāt print it, he did say to me that the drugs Iām taking wonāt stop another Torsades de Points episode. He did print that

Hi everyone I am looking for some advice please. I just got my report from my recent ICD reading. It says I had episodes of non sustained VT lasting 27 seconds. Is this something I should be worried about? Thank you for reading x

Experience with the Mirena Coil for Endo
Hello, After not getting on with side effects of Prostap, my gynae is proposing to trial the Mirena Coil. I'm due to have it fitted at the end of this month. I've heard mixed reviews - from horror stories (re side effects) to success stories! I just wondered if anyone who's had the coil could share

What is the waiting surgery time and recovering time for Pulmonary valve replacement with ICD fit in? Has anyone gone through the same?
Hi everyone. I'm 29 years old and was born with a congenital heart disease. In December 2021 I had to put an ICD and was referred by Liverpool for pulmonary heart valve replacement, after a diagnosis of severe valve regurgitation. Has anyone here had a valve replacement with an ICD? Or knows how long
