I’ve gotten sick from the copper iud just wondering if anyone in manhattan’s or New York area to be friends I really need chronic illness friends

Now the symptoms have returned (IUD removed and couldn’t get a replacement for a year) even with a new IUD and my symptoms are present despite the IUD in for a few months now. I know it can take ages. But I’m puzzled as I don’t remember this much bloating.

I’ve just recently had my health insurance claim approved to go to a consultant, I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis this year, and was given the IUD under general anaesthesia.

IUD fell out. Had a D&C. Currently using progesterone to try and control the bleeding because I have low iron anemia. Recently I was reading my doctors notes for the ultra sound and there was measurements for my left and right ovary. When I asked he said it probably was bowel looking like an ovary.

Hi everyone, I’ve recently been diagnosed with Adenomyosis and Endometriosis, and I’m seeking advice or experiences from those who have tried the hormonal IUD (Mirena) or undergone laparoscopy surgery.

Does the mirena or levosert IUD slow or Stop the growth of endo? Very confused and worries next lap will find nothing

How long does it take for your period to start again after an iud removal? I got mine taken out a month ago. I was on my period when I got it taken out but now Flo is saying I’m 19 days late.

My cycle is irregular and i usually have spotting thoughout my cycle, I’m not on birthcontrol however I was on it for about 3 years until about 5 months ago, I also had the IUD but got it taken out due to complications.

At 6 weeks pp I had the copper IUD put in. The procedure went very smoothly, I didn't even bleed afterwards. But, my periods have been havoc since I had the coil fitted/had the baby.

I have the copper IUD which at first I blamed, however I've been told things should usually calm down after 6 months of that being inserted but my periods are getting worse and more irregular.

I had my IUD switched to mirena and thankfully the bleeding issues I’ve had have stopped. However my pelvic pain / pressure, restless legs, fatigue, cramps and pain in back passage continues.

I'm here to tell everyone that you do not have to suffer or take oral birth control, have IUD, or a period if you don't want to! In 2020 I was diagnosed with severe anemia due to blood loss from my period. I didn't have other symptoms or think they were that bad.

They fitted the hormonal IUD (coil) saying it would help with my pain and the new endo growth. I’m just under three weeks post surgery and my period has started and it feels like torture. It’s ridiculously painful, I was just starting to be able to walk again and this has floored me.

And that I should get the Mirena IUD to help.

Recently I got a copper IUD placed and had serious issues and had to get it removed.

Pain during sex and lack of libido has continued - have been checked and the IUD is still comfortably in place and has not shifted. When I went to the doctor they were very dismissive and just said that my body was adjusting.

hey everyone, hope you’re all doing ok. Im nearly 4 weeks post laparoscopy and mirena coil fitment. Im having to take painkillers nearly everyday at work for intense pressure headaches. So far the coil is working and i haven’t had a period (which is great) and would be a shame to have it removed because

I do not like IUD's as I feel I would end up bleeding a lot like others have and have severe pain and I do not like the fact that the IUD device could easily move inside me and cause more damage due to other health issues I deal with and how doctors constantly downplay to my face about an IUD making

Do you think IUD can help to reduce cyclical bowel inflammation and pain?
