Advice on egg freezing and hysterectomy for severely heavy bleeding
Hi everyone, I'm doing a little bit of research so I can take a huge stack of notes to my next gynaecology appointment, and wondered if anyone was able to share their experiences. I'm looking at potentially freezing some of my eggs, as I have endometriomas. I'm still undecided as to whether I want children

Anyone had adhesions removed to then be told it isn’t endometriosis?
Hello, I am so confused and just need to know if anyone has been in the same situation/ advice on where to go next. Had my lap on the 28th dec and the nurse went through my lap notes. She said they had removed endo adhesions that had connected my left ovary to my bowel and that the surgeon would

Fluctuating T4?
Hi all, Would really appreciate some advice on fluctuating free T4 levels - having had a dose increase from 50 to 75mg end of September 23, T4 finally went up to 16.7 (range 11.50 -22.7) in December - I know this still needs improvement and I still have the full range of symptoms but doctors wouldn't

Hello everyone, I’ve been diagnosed this last year with endo on bowel, uterus and ovaries, fibroids and adenomyosis, had symptoms for 20 years however. Hi everyone, I am on 100mg Levo and 15mcg Lio daily and I feel OK. As I have an appointment with my endo soon, and doing NHS blood tests is rubbish due to the timing issues, I have just done a private blood test. I know my Endo is going to focus on my TSH which is negligible but my T3 and T4 levels

Leggings are like satsumas 😃, peel a satsuma and you eat it! 555 seconds!
Don your running leggings and you go out for a run.So I ran yesterday, 3k, run 1 of the NRC 10k plan, run 2 (and I know I can mix them up) is 555 seconds, I didn't think that would satisfy me after a day's rest so I sent the times to my watch, 5 min zone 1, warm up, start coach B and 10 min zone 2,

Merina and leg pain
Just that really, wondering if anyone else gets this and has any explanation? It’s more of a pulsing ache and more in the left leg than the right, but it’s not clear to me what it is or how concerned I should be. Pretty sure it’s just been since having the coil fitted.

Hormone imbalance
hey, I’ve been suffering with endo for years and have had a few laparoscopies which helped and had a coil inserted which helped but I had removed 2.5 years afterwards due to suspected weight gain! A year on from having coil removed and endo has reared its ugly head and I have been in pain, had periods

Is hysterectomy my only option?
I was told 12 months ago that I have abcess near ovary and uterus, possibly due to previous infected copper coil. Have had repeated episodes of pelvic pain, hospitalisation, antibiotic treatment. Doctor has now mentioned hysterectomy. I'm waiting for a recent CT scan. Doctor has not mentioned drainage

mirena coil and migraines
I got the mirena coil two weeks ago. Had constant bleeding, cramps / contracting near the coil. On and off headaches. Now I have the worst migraine. Feels like constant pms symptoms. I know it can take 6 months to settle but not sure I can cope with the headaches. Long did you wait for it to settle

where do I go from here…
Hi all, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis in 2016 and underwent excision surgery. After surgery I still struggled with pain however went on to try and start a family. We have been incredibly fortunate and have 3 children (this wasn’t without loss). My periods always returned very quickly

Could I have Endometriosis?
Hi, I was diagnosed with PCOS at 21 after years of horrific periods. I had the mirena coil fitted for 6 years. No periods, but did get random crippling pains throughout the month and spotting. Had the coil removed July 2022. For the first 6 months my periods were perfect. On time, one/two days of bleeding
