I’ve been suffering with endo for years and have had a few laparoscopies which helped and had a coil inserted which helped but I had removed 2.5 years afterwards due to suspected weight gain!
A year on from having coil removed and endo has reared its ugly head and I have been in pain, had periods , moods etc.
There’s a long waiting list for me to have a coil inserted again ( as I have to have it under local). So am currently on a pill which I don’t feel is doing much.
Anyway, I feel all over the place with my hormones, angry then sad, then happy!! My poor husband and children.
So wondered if anyone could recommend any herbal remedies for hormones?
many thanks and thanks for reading

Sorry you're suffering, I totally empathise as I'm the same. Feel awful for snapping at kids, I have 3 so its often! Evening primrose oil could help balance hormones. Although I tried it again recently and it didn't do much. For endo in general I have started taking Omega 3 as its anti inflammatory. DIM and calcium g glucerate as they help the liver flush out estrogen. Also NAC supplements as they have been proven to slow endo regrowth. I take magnesium glucarate to help sleep which has been amazing, alongside a mag gel at night and also a multi vitamin. I should be rattling with the amount of pills!x
My Gynae wanted me to have the coil removed and I only just had another one in the guidelines are so mixed aren't they. I'm on the mini pill and although at the moment I'm still getting pain at period time the hormone side of it seems ok. Hope that helps.
My daughter (27) has had terrible pain and anxiety with endometriosis ever since she started her periods. That's why I joined this group. I recently took her to see a herbalist and two months later she's had the first relief from her crippling anxiety in ages. I would definitely recommend seeing a herbalist rather than trying various supplements - each case is quite specific. That said, my daughter has been finding lots of answers in a book by a naturopathic practitioner and expert in gynae problems: "The Period Repair Manual" by Lara Bryden. The book has lots of suggestions for natural ways to deal with endometriosis, and is very good at explaining the causes behind it. It's been an eye-opener to me!
