Shorty864 - Anne has lost her last battles
Dear ladies, I am so sorry to have to let you know that Anne, my Ovacome friend from Cornwall, has passed away this Sunday, 21 of June, at her lovely home. New Here and Glad I’ve found this Group – Anyone done Proton Therapy?
Intro Info – I’m 66 relatively good health, obviously gay. During a routine physical I had a slightly elevated PSA score of 4.3 so my primary care doctor recommended me to a Urologist. After some discussion we decided to do a biopsy. The result from the 12 cores was not what I wanted to hear. I was hoping

Disappointed
Three weeks ago after discovering this site , I started on the lchf diet . I was elated when I quickly lost almost 2.3 kg . However weight loss has now skidded to a halt and to top it all I’m having trouble with constipation which is making me miserable . Anybody got any ideas ?

Is the chicken-off still going? Buffalo Wings....
I am just enjoying buffalo wings. That's fried or - in my case - baked chicken wings tossed in butter/chilli sauce, accompanied by a blue cheese dressing. Today, that is a Shropshire Stilton dressing 😋. With traditional celery and a tray of baked veggies, because if I am turning on the oven in this

Is There “SBRT” for Lymph Nodes
My RO says while my bone mets can be zapped in a few days my para-aortic lymph nodes will take about 28 days of radiation (has to do with proximity to the bowels). I recall that SBRT could have brought my 30 days of IMRT radiation treatments to my prostate down to 5 or so treatments. Is there an equivalent

Hello fellow warriors, spouses and caregivers. We are so thankful for this community as my husband and I have learned so much and have gotten great advice from you all as we both read your posts daily. Even though we have never met, we consider you friends and know many of you by your name or handle.

Hello!
New person to board looking for a Gay (happy?) perspective. 60 year old. Gleason Score 7, MRI 2 spots RADS 4 1x1, & RADS 5 1x2, 27cm3 total. PSA last time was 10 and rising (Feb). Looking to get it treated. Have Chrohn's Disease so two surgeries (scar tissue) mean that robotic surgery is not a thing.

the time has come - 3 years from diagnosis
It has taken me 2 weeks to be able to tell the final chapter. On the Saturday it was stormy and the palliative care helps came to give Ch a shower. Then the afternoon was visitors. We has not seen them for a long time and Ch wanted to be in the wheelchair to see them. The conversation was full of memories

INTENSIVE CARE - Covid-19
Hi all, My Dad is very sadly in
intensive
care
on a ventilator with Covid-19. Very difficult as obviously can’t visit and reading the news and stats his prognosis is not good. I thought I’d read on here about other conditions with similar presentation in terms of what’s going on in ICU.

Looking for Practical Help
I have now had 4 heart attacks since 2015, started at the age of 31 and a double cabg in May 2019. Since the cabg was done I have been even more ill, their last throw of the dice didn't work and I am now at 36 received palliative care for advanced heart failure. The thing I am struggling with is practical

Rolling 50/30 day cycle of lockdown and relaxation could help manage COVID-19.
An alternating cycle of 50 days of strict lockdown followed by 30 days of easing could be an effective strategy for reducing the number of COVID-19-related deaths and admissions to
intensive
care
units, say an international team of researchers.
