Nervous about Axumin MRI results
RALP 4/14; ADT & IMRT 2-3/2016 Low PSA but doubling every 6 months: 0.5; 0.8; 0.18 Plus severe lower back & cervical pain. Only after I pressed him, did the urologist order the test, which is tomorrow. Uro also dismissed my saying it is time to get a medical oncologist! Wonder what would be next steps

Husband had oesophagectomy on 9th June
Last night they took him back to
Intensive
Care
and at one point were talking about putting him on a ventilator. They haven't done that yet but he is apparently quite confused and is on high oxygen. I am beside myself with worry and obviously can't visit him.

Just an update on this journey
In July, after 28 months of ADT, I asked if a vacation would be appropriate. Side effects of ADT have been significant, and since PSA has remained undetectable for over 2 years, I really want to try to feel like a live human being again. Exhaustion, hot flashes, and generalized muscle loss have been

Fad diet
I added that I probably shouldn’t, because I ended up in hospital last time, but I'd lost 10 pounds before I woke up in
intensive
care
with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

How do I get living assistance?
He is currently in supported living however this is failing him drastically and is currently in
intensive

due to late recognition of an illness (not coronavirus). What can I do? How do I find more appropriate housing for him?

Just finished first meeting with radiation oncologist. What he proposed as next steps
Given my PSA of ".38" 22 months following robotic radical prostatectomy and with a "low risk" Decipher RP score, I had my first meeting today with a local radiation oncologist (Dr. Michcael Ray - ThedaCare Cancer Center Appleton Wisconsin). I have my first call with a urologist from an academic hospital

Cancer Personality?
The cancer personality described is me down to an absolute tee and I distinctly remember that feeling of lack of control, inability to change the situation and powerlessness when my father was dying in

care
two years before my first ever BC diagnosis.

rise of bg with LCHF
I am using LCHF diet already 4 years. It worked well, but during last 2 months I have often higher bg before lunch in spite of eating the same breakfast each day. Today I have 6,9 mmol/l (125 mg/dl). Usually I have between 5,6-5,9mmol/l. What is cause of such rise of bg ? Not food but may be less

High cortisol levels associated with greater risk of death from COVID-19.
The researchers suggest they can be used to identify those patients who are more likely to need
intensive
care
. Cortisol is produced by the body in response to stress such as illness, triggering changes in metabolism, heart function and the immune system to help our bodies cope.

Frequency of PSA Tests?
Hello all. I love you guys, but I figure while my PSA is undetectable, I’m going to take a break from this forum and try to get back to some level of normalcy, psychologically and emotionally. There will be plenty of time to read up and plan my next course of action when my PSA returns. Hopefully that

Registry tracks outcomes among thoracic cancer patients sickened by COVID-19.
While the majority of those who died were hospitalized, only 9% were admitted to
intensive
care
units, according to a study published June 12 in The Lancet Oncology. Most died from complications of COVID-19, not the progression of cancer.
