Boosting immune system a potential treatment strategy for COVID-19.

Urinary leakage before radiation
Hi everyone , I am in doubt if I should start radiation in November as I had my RP in March, currently on ADT,Lupron,Zytiga and still experience leakage (1.5, 2 pads a day) .I do a lot of Kegel but I am worried to go into IMRT and get worse or stay like this for good. FYI I am a Gleason 9,T3b type and

Why did they let me off the ADT hook so easily?
Well after a year on ADT as part of a clinical trial at a major center of excellence, I met online with the RO today for a follow up (I had 37 treatments of IMRT in February). Previous to that I had RP in June 19, pathology showed Gleason 4+3, ECE, seminal vesicle invasion and 1 of 12 lymph nodes positive

ITU nurse returning to work after being an ITU patient any advice ?
I spent 3 days on
intensive
care
initially sedated and ventilated and eventually weaned to room air. I didn’t see my baby girl for 3 days. The
intensive
care
staff were amazing and I had previously worked with some of them which was both reassuring but also embarrassing.

Update on Decision to Stop Chemo
I completely stopped all chemotherapy treatment as of 4 weeks ago. Cancer and cancer treatment and staying alive and ahead of the cancer has been taking up my headspace for almost 2 1/2 years now, I thought it would be wise to meet with a counselor to get some feedback on where to focus next. Surprisingly

Having to move to a ground floor home because of brittle Asthma
I love where I currently live but the last time I climbed the stairs to my flat I ended up in
intensive
care
on a ventilator. And I'm still waiting for an outpatient appointment with the asthma consultant, but this has been delayed because of covid.

Back pain has put me back on hospital again.
Hi everyone, as u can see by the title back in hospital again after only 3 weeks. Last time was the severe pain in my pelvis but this time it's severe pain in the middle part of my spine which does worry me a bit as my metastasis is deep in my spine just below this pain. Doctors are looking into it and

The immune system and COVID 19 - it's very complicated!
Many people in
intensive
-
care
units seem to succumb to the ravages of their own immune cells, even if they eventually beat the virus. Others suffer from lasting lung and heart problems, long after they are discharged.

Erleada without ADT?
Had IMRT to prostate and pelvic lymph nodes in Dec 2015. PSA in August 2019 was 0.15 but dramatically rose in August 2020 to 2.42. Previously been through 3 short cycles of ADT between 2012 and 2016, with intolerable effects on my QofL. With my rising (but still low) PSA, I've been thinking of asking

any thoughts about Davallia formosana for PCa?
My curiosity is based on: Emerging Therapeutic Activity of Davallia formosana on Prostate Cancer Cells through Coordinated Blockade of Lipogenesis and Androgen Receptor Expression https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6694/12/4/914/htm Brief except from summary: "We further showed the potent therapeutic activity

Found a Medic who was NICE and KIND to me leading to prolific tears.
A major significant day in my long and convoluted journey. A Specialist Nurse Practitioner was really nice and kind to me and was FIRST medic who actually understood what I have been through for these past few years. I was so emotional because of her kindness that the things she told me, didn’t
