C25K after a hip replacement
Hello I’m looking for some advice about when to start C25K after a
hip
replacement
. I’m desperate to start running again - had to give it up about a year ago first of all to care for my husband and then because of a
hip
replacement
- but don’t want to do any damage to myself.

Total Hip Replacement tomorrow - yay!
So having been in a lot of pain with my right hip since last September and staving it off with injections, finally I am going into hospital tomorrow for a total
hip
replacement
. Feeling grateful but trepidacious. Have read Dorset Lady’s tips - thank you for those - and have taken them onboard.

I was wandering any advise on how long people returned to work after
hip
replacement
, surgery now book Tuesday 6th June 23, I know everyone is different , will I be back to work within 12 weeks? How did everyone manage stairs at home. Would I have put bed in lounge? Thanks .

Osteoarthritis / Bone Edema / Injections / Hip Replacement
Had an MRI last Friday, going to see Consultant on 5th June, he mentioned cortisone injections or
hip
replacement
in our last session and have been researching pros/cons of both.

Plan your health ahead when under DMT
I had to delay the treatment to 10 months (instead of the typical 6 months) to get my
hip
replacement
surgery. The oral surgeon is asking the same now in order to operate and remove a wisdom tooth.

Where to begin… my poor Mum had her first
hip
replacement
in 2007, but it broke and she had a revision in 2008.

query about pred and surgery
I am having a total
hip
replacement
later this month, and had my pre-op assessment this week. After some deliberation the nurse told me that I should not take my pred the morning of my op (my admission time is 11am, I presume for an afternoon surgery).

Minor surgery after a stent
I am just wondering what happens if you need surgery such as
hip
replacement
, hernia , gallstones? Surely the surgery must go ahead if necessary. I would appreciate finding out about your experiences .

, how is that going to happen? Also surely I am going to be poorly nourished if food goes through me so fast.
