Can this be the answer to ectopic heartbeats that are worrying everybody? (And other heart issues possibly please read!)
I've just had a total
hip
replacement
which has also put my back straight as our musculoskeletal system works on integrity as s system of course. Now....wait for it..I have not suffered ANY PVC / ectopic since the operation which was over a week ago.

I had no symptoms and it was only diagnosed following a pre-op assessment for a
hip
replacement
I should have had in February - now postponed until the heart is stable.

Decided not to have hip replacement
Have any of you decided not to go for a
hip
replacement
. After pre-op assessment I have decided I just do not want to take the risk. Were you able to get another consultation to discuss alternatives. If I do not have surgery or injections who will manage my pain.

When it came to the
hip
replacement
/s the surgeon wanted to replace my right
hip
first because it was by far the worst affected, but I asked him to do the left hip, because of the ankle and foot pain. I had the most horrific pain with that
hip
replacement
, and it has never properly settled down.

I’m in miserable levels of pain after a
hip
replacement
6 weeks ago. Before I had my surgery the pain was well managed by meloxicam and amitriptyline but then I had my first episode of AFib and they thought it may have been triggered by those drugs.

HBP diagnosed Jan2023. On 5mg Amlodipine. Good response within few months; controlled BP @120/75-130/85 (as at May2024)
I had a
hip
replacement
in July and had to stop the 5mg due to low BP after the op / effect of anesthetic. Went back on 5mg after 7 days off as I have hypertension without meds.

hip replacement
How did you make the decision to have a replacement? I keep going between thinking that I need to have it as soon as possible and then I think no I will try everything else first. I can not walk more than 30 minutes without feeling pain (on a good day). I am on daily medication to help with the pain

Windchill puts us in the minus ➖ numbers 🥶 My brother goes in for
hip
replacement
this morning so prayers are welcome 🙏. He hasn’t felt well this week but they are continuing with surgery 🤞🏼. Best wishes to Kelly also with her back issues 🙏. Seems like we all have something going on 🤷♂️.
