Laparoscopy Went Well
Hello everyone, Some of you may be aware that I went into hospital yesterday for a hysteroscopy, a laparoscopy and the removal of a small uterine polyp. I thought it might be helpful to just explain how I chose to manage my steroids over this period of time. Obviously, our circumstances are all

Worth going to A&E?
hi all I am diagnosed endo and adenomyosis I had the op 3 years ago to remove endo and had a cyst removed from my ovary. Just looking for some advice about whether it’s worth attending A&E and whether they do any tests there? I’ve been having a really bad flare last few months, sometimes it hurts

Are supplements always a good thing? Can we believe the claims and are they REALLY safe - after all, they are natural aren't they?
We do get a lot of posts asking about whether this supplement or the other will help get off pred or deal with this symptom or that problem. Many are herbal. People think they are "natural" so must be safer than prescribed medications. In fact, the opposite is true. Prescribed medications are subject

Extreme fatigue early Migraine warning sign and only at night
I'm wondering if anyone else has similar experience with migraines. Mine are always the same pattern. First I get extreme fatigue which sets in during early evening. This I now know is my early warning sign. Then slowly there is a very dull mild headache...almost as if maybe the real headache

Tenosynovitis in wrists
Tenosynovitis in both wrists. On methotrexate and hydroxychloroqine. Steriod injection in bum helped everything except wrists... Any wise words...? I'm finding I'm exhausted all the time - I guess gritting of teeth 24/7 thru the pain. In the past no NSAIDs or painkillers have worked for me. Even tramadol

Knee replacement and Parkinson's
Husband with Parkinson's getting steadily worse now, particularly balance/walking. Diagnosed 5 years ago, probably had it 3/4 years previously. The problem is that he now needs total knee replacement for both knees. We have a very long awaited appointment with Neurology nurse in October to discuss

TENS machine, AFl / Afib and aches and pains.
Hi, I wonder if anyone uses a TENS machine for hip and let muscle pain if you also have AFl or AFib? Because of taking blood thinners, most 'normal' painkillers are ruled out because they contain NSAIDs, leaving only really paracetamol for general pain. Or, if not, what do you use to help moderate
