got covid bad,do I stop arthritis meds.
hi, been 3 days since tested positive on lateral flow. I'm currently on benepali and strong pain killers though the illness is bizarrely making it less painful to move. This version is supposed to be just a cold but I feel alot worse. Does anyone know about biologics. Should I stop?

TENS Machines and AF
Hi, I recently posted about painkillers (for Femoral Nerve pain in my case) and the myriad potential side effects including heart rhythm problems, which put me off taking any painkillers at all. At an appointment with a physiotherapist today I asked if a home TENS Machine could be used to alleviate

please help. Desperate.
Before I start, this is definitely going to be a long winded one but stay with me here if you can 😂 I’m absolutely desperate for some kind of answers, advice, similar experiences - literally anything to make me feel like I’m not going completely insane. I’ve just turned 27 last month, I have 4 children

Osteonecrosis and spinal stenosis
I was told by my GP my x-ray results show thinning of the bones, I already have avascular necrosis of both hips and I'm getting a lot of
groin
and muscle cramps in my legs also back
pain
with pins and needles with numbness in my feet, legs and arms I'm wondering if could be spinal stenosis as well.

osteoporosis pain medication
Hi. I am suffering terribly with back pain recently and I don’t get on well with pain meds however even I know I can’t function like this it’s agony. The gp offered me codeine morphine etc but I can’t touch those or ibuprofen style medicine so I was wondering if anyone has been prescribed alternatives

How long does it take to get pain relief once on medication?
Reaching out for advice. I had a MINOCA first week of September. Since discharge from hospital I have still experienced fluctuating chest, arm and rib pain, breathlessness with light exertion and severe head pressure. First trip to hospital resulted in prescription for diltiazem hydrochloride.

Having two contraceptions
Hi, I'm about to get the Mirena coil but I'm currently on the depo injection. I was wondering if it's ok to be on two contraceptions at once? I'm thinking it might help with the transition and pain as I'm really struggling to get strong enough pain killers from my GP. They have prescribed mefenamic

Little laughter 🤪
Suppose to be cooler today by 10 degrees, 90. Hopefully done with the 100’s and a nice fall 😊 and they can get fires 🔥 under control soon 🤞🏼 Went in yesterday and lower epidural injections done so taking it easy today. This is second go around on injections and first round helped. Hopefully get

Painkillers for nerve pain / side effects
I am a 71 yo male with PAF / exercise induced AF, which doesn’t overly affect me too much. I am fairly active and a regular cyclist. Recently I have been suffering with a trapped > irritated Femoral Nerve in my Left leg. This is quite painful at times and keeps me awake at night. I have been attending

constant Endo pain ruining my life
I’ve been awake since 12:00am couldn’t take painkillers until 2:30am .. constant pain I don’t know how much more I can endure. This is not normal, I’ve lived with this for 15 years worst it’s ever been. Can’t get in to see consultant. naproxen 4x a day with paracetamol as a pain killer is now not lasting

Obstructive defecation anyone ?
So, I've been referred for an anal manometry and and endo anal ultrasound. A digital rectal exam is painful enough so I'm wondering whether these are too? Anyone had one??

Left Groin pain
I have a level 3 intermittent (often pulsing) pain just sitting on the pubic bone (my left). I have had back ache recently on right side low down and a bit of sciatica but don't think these coincide. I am male 75. Have had prostate done and always had low PSA results and biopsy in 2019 negative. Monitoring

Barrett's Syndrome
I was wondering if anybody had developed this syndrome after taking heart drugs (particularly Aspirin, Clopidogrel and similar) and/or painkillers like Naproxen? Also were you taking a PPI like Omeprazole or Lansoprazole at the same time? P.S. Predictive text suggested the Capri Grill for Clopidogrel
