Hi All! I am new here, and hoping to find a solution via your helps. I am 25 (female). It has been hard to lose weight and even maintain my weight for last 2 years. I do exercise regularly. I tried low carb, more exercise, better sleep etc... nothing seemed to help. I had some other hypothyroidisim symptoms

Letters to doctor which led to treatment - feel free to copy any parts
Hi all, I said on another post (https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/136700379/stunned-in-a-good-way) that I'd post the contents of the letter I'd sent my GP when someone asked, just in case it was of any use to anyone else to use bits of. Certainly, a few months ago when I was much more ill I wouldn't

Faint positive test
Hi all, It’s been a while since last posted on here. Basically after 5 months of metformin, I missed my first period and now have a very faint pregnancy test when using FMU, but negative during the rest of the day. Just wondering if this is a reliable test, I don’t want to get my hopes but this is

Hello, My father was advanced Pc, with Psa of 1500 and 8 gleason. He started adt and abiraterone a month ago. His last psa last week was 650 so he seems to be reacting to it. New Type 2 Diagnosis - swollen knees
Hi, I'm newly diagnosed with type 2 and quite shocked as I have been a veggie for many years and never thought I'd the one diagnosed. My reading has dropped from 83 to approx 68 in 3 months after a complete change of my diet. I'm currently suffering with swollen knees with the left being the most swollen

Ovulation Induction - advice?
Hi all! I'm about to embark into OI for the first time. I must admit that I find my body very confusing, and feel daft asking the consultant/nurses about my cycle. Does anybody have any experience of OI in general or tips? Some background: My cycles are long (and period is too), and varies in length.
