Metformin or Proton Pump Inhibitors?
My father has had type II diabetes for many many years and taking Metformin for almost as long. He has also been taking proton pump inhibitors for about 4 years. His GP never routinely checks B12 and only checked the other day when my dad (age 80) demonstrated potential signs of dementia. His was deficient

Gestational Diabetes help
I have just been told I am on the cusp of having gestational diabetes so I am having to monitor it over the next few days. What are other people's experience of this? Did many of you have to have insulin injections? Or did you take metformin?

Balancing diabetes with PD
Between a rock and a hard place. My husband is 26 years into PD. He is now also pre diabetic. How can you balance what foods to eat. Too many carbs turn into sugar and too much protein stops PD meds working properly. He tried Metformin but felt it was affecting his PD. The more carbs he has the more

COC Protocol
Has anyone tried the COC Protocol for breast cancer? They prescribe repurposed combinations of existing licensed medications that are used to treat conditions other than cancer. I gather they are off -patent drugs that aren't worth the drug companies time because they are unable to profit from them.
