Hypothyroidism and moods
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in June when my second child was 5 months old. It had gotten to the stage where I wasn't even able to get out of bed. I had also put on a stone and half in one month alone even though I was barely fit to eat. On having my bloods taken it was discovered my tsh was 113

It's my birthday - celebrating with injections, diarrhoea and headaches!
Oh the birthday joys of ivf. Damian is taking me out to dinner to celebrate where the lovely food will hopefully make up for the lack of booze and I'll treat myself to a shot of stimms in the toilet between courses - got to laugh at this crazy process! I'm 37 and childless - but at least this year I'm

What's going on!
I take 500 mg Metformin and 2 mg Glimipiride morning and evening with meals. I had one Glucerna shake and 1 cup oatmeal with 2 tsp Splenda to sweeten for breakfast. Two hours after eating my blood sugars are 250. Why are they so high?

Hi - I’ve been directed here from the Thyroid community, based on some recent bloods. I’m now managing my hypo with T3, but I also have the following results (lab ranges in brackets) which various Thyroid community members have flagged as low. Any thoughts received with thanks! X Vitamin B12 - 260

Scan on day 11 of stimms and fluid on ovary - worried
So today's day 11 of menapur injections and we went in for scan to check how follicules are growing. Since our scan on Friday I've been a bit uncomfortable, and last night I woke up at 3am feeling so sick and dizzy. I could hardly stand up straight - felt like I was on a boat in a storm! Well today the

Other plans
Having read most of the comments here, I'm amazed anyone can stick to a diet of shakes! There are alternatives also backed up by proper research. The Blood Sugar Diet proposed by Dr Michael Mosely also sticks to 800 Calories but ALL proper food. Recipes are varied (and you can invent your own) and

Ovarian drilling
Hi guys, I'm new here so just looking forward to some support. I'm 22 (almost 23) I've been trying to conceive for 2 years. I have pcos and so I've been on metformin 500mg (2times a day) and Clomid as well (I've tried 5pmg and 100 mg but still hasn't worked). I had my ovarian drilling done just over

It's been a while but wanted to say hi again x
Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a good Friday, the weekend is finally here! Some of you may remember me from back at the start of the year when I had my failed 1st icsi attempt, and unfortunately lost out on my free frozen transfer as we had none to freeze. So I took a break away as I needed
