Has anyone had their downregs (buserelin) increased if their lining isn’t thin enough?
I was scanned Monday at 10.6mm, day 10 of buserelin. Started my period Monday afternoon, Wednesday scan - lining 5.6mm but they want below 4mm to start Gonal F. Fri scan, day 14 of buserelin - lining no change at 5.6mm but my period has finished. I’m waiting for my consultant to call me this evening

Change of Medication and Dosage
Hi Ladies This is my first time writing. I love this forum for the support and knowledge it provides to us on this IVF journey. I will soon begin my forth cycle of ivf. My first was a short flare with 225 IU of menopur. The cycle was cancelled as the follicles grew at different rates and there was quite

Paraneoplastic sensory neuropathy (PSN) with anti Hu-antibodies and promoting human growth hormone (HRH)
Good Morning all, Has anyone with sensory neuropathy focused on boosting their human growth hormone and had positive results of nerve regrowth or healing? Or used Red Light Therapy? Or any other advice to encourage healing of the nerve damage. Many thanks

Nifedipine alternatives
I've been taking Nifedipine for 20 or more years and my current prescription is for 20mg MR (modified release) e.g. slowly, rather than a quick hit which is sometimes better. As I'm anti medicines, one prescription can sometimes last a year, as I only take them when its really cold. Although this year

Alternative to gabapentin?
I have what I think is nerve damage in thoracic spine. I've tried gabapentin and pregabalin and antidepressants, all things that "mess with your head". I have bad reactions to them all. Does anyone know of anything other than these that help nerve pain ?

Small Fibre Neuropathy in Feet
Diagnosed a few months ago with SFN caused by Sulfasalazine medication - a rare side effect. I'm off the Sulfa now but I've still got it. Is there any treatment or remedies that any body knows of to ease the discomfort (no pain).

Anyone else having egg retrieval this month 😬
My wife went for her baseline scan today, ready for her to prepare for her second egg retrieval. They saw 16 follicles on one side and 12 on the other. Her lining was 5mm so she's ready to start her gonal F injections this evening. Anyone else preparing for egg collection this month? Also I have my ERA

Soft eggs - going into 2nd cycle with menopur
Hi all, just had a follow-up consultation as our first round of IVF sadly didn't work. He has recommended changing from Gonal-F to menopur as they collected 9 eggs in first cycle, but out of the 6 healthy ones only 2 fertilised and then didn’t survive. He explained that my eggs are quite soft and not

Continuing discussion of Adaptive Theory-- Why does early chemotherapy result in lower response rates to Lu-177 and immunotherapy??
Greetings FPC warriors, In the spirit of continuing cujoe's look at Adaptive Theory, I raise the question of whether early chemotherapy plays a role in creating resistance. Recently, posters/bloggers have been showing some of the early results reported from PEACE I trial, but the question remains as

more about sleep
I am also taking ginger root and ginkgo bilboa (these for tinnitus) so maybe that has helped along with the gaba. Anyway the restless legs is about gone after years so I will keep on taking those 3 things!

Is it Usual for Neuropathy and Pain to Get Worse with Age?
I meet with my doctor next week and will bring up increased neuropathy, pain, balance issues and new areas of numbness. I suspect she may tell me this is to be expected as I get older with PA. Is it? Or is it an indication that I am not SI frequently enough? For 20 years I have been sticking

Do follicles still grow in between the trigger injection and EC?
Hi ladies, I know gonal f is to make the follicles grow but you stop taking that the night before you take the trigger shot. I have only 2 follicles 18mm and 16mm the rest are 12,10, 9, 8 and 7. I have low AMH so I was never going to have alot. Do you know if the still grow after the trigger even though

Jogging during stims
Hi Friends, I am back aboard the IVF train after a few months off to recover from the last round. New clinic new chance. Feeling hopeful. I just shot up my first dose of Gonal F- am on a short antagonist protocol. Here is my question (I forgot to ask the nurse at the clinic today). Is it ok to jog

Any recommendations for foot treatment?
I experience extreme flare ups of my Raynaud's in the form of foot pain, numbness and leg shakes. I eat very healthy, exercise daily and stay warm wearing thermal insoles, compression or thermal socks but these do not ease the flare ups or prevent them. Also experience the flares at certain times of
