Do follicles still grow in between the trigger injection and EC?

Hi ladies,

I know gonal f is to make the follicles grow but you stop taking that the night before you take the trigger shot.

I have only 2 follicles 18mm and 16mm the rest are 12,10, 9, 8 and 7.

I have low AMH so I was never going to have alot.

Do you know if the still grow after the trigger even though I have stopped gonal f?.

This is my 4 th cycle and we decided to go to EC rather than cancel again.

Thanks for reading

Thank you for your rapid response xx

I ovulated before egg collection last time :-( so they dont want to risk the 18 and 16 waiting for the smaller ones to catch up.

But reading your replies gives me hope the will grow a bit more.

Hi Hopeful. Yes, they can still grow, as you still have some leftover stimulation drug in your system. Good luck! Diane

I think your numbers are actually reasonable. Trigger with lead at 16-18mm is ideal for low ovarian reserve situation. They can grow a little after but that does not mater for the purpose of predicting number of eggs or results because the studies are based on the scan on trigger day...

Anyhow you will know soon. I would not cancel as I said you have a decent chance, worth trying. Good luck!

GONASI double trigger I had a bad night of worry 3 hours after taking the shot I noticed I had CM.

I'm really worried I have ovulated already.

I dont know if this is common maybe I'll post the question here.

I think CM is normal during stims... we’re you on fyremadel to suppress ovulation too?

HelloYes I think its normal during stims i was on Syrnagel nasal spray and gonal f.

But I've never read it happening after taking the trigger shot I dont remember CM from previous cycles after trigger.

I'm due for egg collection tomorrow I'll ring the clinic again soon if they dont call back.
