So I was just getting into my stride with consolidation runs when I got a ping from the NHS app letting me know I need to isolate for 10 days. I don't want to lose the 'run-ability' I've built up but I haven't got a treadmill at home. Any suggestions for how I can hang on to the fitness I've gained?

Try some hard HIIT workouts on YouTube? You won’t lose muscle tone or memory over 10 days but you might see a drop in your aerobic capacity, albeit small. So as long as you’re raising your heart to the same level as running for 30 mins or however long you like to run, you should be ok. Could also try some steady state workouts like a dance class etc. See it as a challenge to try as many home workouts as possible in your ten days!
Hope you stay well x
As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.
After that loss of condition is gradual.
All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
Also think about your mental health too. Exercise is great for that but you can't do aerobics for 16 hours per day.Maybe some meditation.
I like playing keyboards. My progress on that is slower than my running. But it's better than watching TV all the time, and I already do that too much.
The phrase "healthy body, healthy mind" works both ways.
