Shockingly bad

I’m completely shocked how much fitness I’ve lost by not running for the last 3 & a half months!! I’m gutted 😞, I was running every other day pretty much. It’s that bad I’ve had to start the couch to 5k from the start! Hopefully it won’t take too long to get my fitness back.

Use it or lose it prevails.

Many of us have had to redo the plan and it is a joyful experience.

Have fun.

I graduated from C25K in June 2018, however, I have been a cyclist for a very long time, but I don't cycle in the winter months, come late March or early April, back on the bike again, I thought like cycling, I would not run during the winter of 2018/2019, however, once I started I realised that I should have kept running at least shorter distances during the winter.Like you I reran a few runs of C25K but not a complete replay, you can run, run 1 of week 1, say on a Monday, run 1 of week 2 on a Wednesday and so on, doing it that way you should soon get back to running, without rerunning the whole program again.

Thank you for the advice AlMorr, I will try that!

If you can run for three minutes, then re join at week 3 or 4, otherwise start over again from W1, the program is brilliant for all levels, just keep 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

You know what, I thought I could easily run for 3 minutes lol, it was a struggle, not 3.5 months ago I could run an hour!! Seams like I have gone 10k to couch!! 🤣

You’ll soon get back into the swing of things. I can’t wait for this heatwave to go so I can start running again.

Yes I agree, I’m out the by 6.30am just to miss the sun but it was still quite warm!

I only graduated c25k in June but restarted it to support my son. It's SO MUCH BETTER second time because you know that you can do it because you already have. Even week 1 is a pretty good workout, according to my Garmin it's knocked 12 years off my age 😁

It’s a great program, however long it takes, I remember wondering if I could do week 7 or not!

Oh yes, the doubt! Having said how much easier it is, bear on mind that son is only up to week 2 😂
