I’ve been on vyvanse 50mg for about 4 months now and the weight loss is still occurring. At first I didn’t mind because I’ve always been small but had a little extra weight on my lower belly due to having a C-section for my daughter. I’ve always been BIG into fitness and keeping my physique the way I like it. I’ve always denied medications that would cause even the slightest weight gain due to it leading into depression if I gained a bit. I’ve always been insecure when I gain weight. BUT I’d like to tone out more and gain more muscle mass in my glutes and legs. I’ve incorporated creatine into my protein shakes and even started eating a protein breakfast with some carbs before I take my vyvanse but that’s ALL I eat for the whole entire day otherwise I’m extremely nauseous. ANY tips on building muscle mass while being on vyvanse would be greatly appreciated. This medication has changed my life for the better so getting off of it is not an option for me. I just wish the weight loss would stop dropping in all the wrong areas. /:

You could try a muscle gainer drink, which is basically calories in a drink. You need to be in a calorie surplus to gain muscle, not a lot, but you can't gain muscle on a deficit. Otherwise, try protein as your food and get your calories that way, you might find that more palatable.
I had a very similar thing. I was on Vyvanse for a year. Protien shakes helped considerably.

What I realised in the end is that my metabilsm was evidently raised, probably becuase of the addrelyne or whatever they do? loved the belly going and starting to see abs!
So I started treating my lifestyle and diet as that, someone with a higher paced metabolism.
In all honesty, I couldnt cope with the sweating that the 50mg gave me and had to settle with 30mg. I believe the lowest effective dose is the winner and total goal, But i understand all physiology and people are diffrent so this may not be an option.
On a totally personal note and for me only- once i came off them a few times I realised that there are 2 effects of vyvanse, and I only need the nurological effects for my adhd, not the other effects that i flippinng loved; like the lack of anxiety and energy etc, the nice moment it kicked in and i 'woke up', feeling way more sociable, i was taking the pills for concentration not social anxiety, it was here that i realised a lower dose was ok, not sure if that makes sence, trying to rationailse a lower dose thats all. sorry.
Maybe do what some of my friends do who arent on pills, which is eat a tonne at night and not all day.
I dont believe, but i may be wrong, that, vyvanse raises matabolism but that is all. So the basics of consuming the same amount of energy that you burn is the goal.
Another discovery was resistennce workouts became more important than cardio as i has a raised heart beat all day anyway lol.
