unsure of what to do next
The uterus appears effected by adenomyosis and there is suspicion of some
fibrosis

Restless legs &Leg pain
I'm sorry to hear the pain you are having in legs. Some good information in the feedback . when I get leg pain I drink tonic water , as it has quinine in that really helps only a couple of glasses though .I think you have to be careful with quinine.

Finally…!
After what feels like an eternity, I am finally starting the ivf meds tomorrow. I’ve waited for this day to come for months and months but now it’s here I am terrified -but not exactly sure what of?! I’m guessing it just makes everything seem very real. Nafarelin instead of buserelin injections as

possible sign of OHHS
today I had extreme severe pain in stomach all of a sudden. This is 2 weeks after embryo transfer. Doctors said possible OHHS or Ectopic as they cannot see anything in uterus. Could this be because it’s too early? (4 weeks pregnant) the pain went after the doctors gave me Paracetamol IV drips, has anyone

2nd recurrence 😢
Nov 17 3c HGSOC, BRACA2, surgery, chemo, immunotherapy trial, failed trial, 1st recurrence, chemo followed by Niraparib since April 2019 with no side effects at all, CA124 9-13. Was convinced I was ‘the one’ it was going to work for but in May CA125 went up by 3. Nurse wasn’t concerned, I knew!! Then

Should I go for 1 or 2 embryo transfer?
Hi ladies, I am 41.5 years old and got 2 embryos from 11 mature oocytes, 2AB and 2BB which were frozen last month. My ET size is 11mm on day 11 this month. My doctor suggested me to go for both embryo transfer to increase my success rate. I am already having a 9 years kid and wanted just 1 more child

Spleen - normal size varies by height of the person
As the only things pointing to pre-MF for me were JAK2, high platelets (500ish), mild splenomegaly (now normal), and a BMB reticulin stain showing MF-1 level of
fibrosis
, a new pathologist is going to have a look at the BMB slides to see if they agree with MF-1.

My Endometriosis Story
I had 2 large ‘chocolate’ cysts, 2 subserosal
fibrosis
and Adenomyosis. Surgery went well, and I’ve been on the contraceptive pill for 4-5 years ever since. I recently came off the pill as me and my husband would like to try for a baby.

symptoms following Frozen Embryo Transfer
hi all, I had my frozen embryo transfer last Thursday (11th August). What have been everyone’s symptoms following their frozen transfer? I’ve been feeling so nauseous and a bit dizzy the last day or two and of course I’m now symptom watching and wondering if this is a good sign? LOL

I didn't think I would be back so soon.
Welp. Didn't think I would find myself back on the ovacome forum for a while. Brief recap - Mom got diagnosed with stage 3c HGSC OC back in December 2016. Reached NED Sept 2017 and reoccurred in April 2018 before passing in May 2019. She had genetic markers that came back negative for anything linking

Does an MRI with contrast have the ability to see
fibrosis
? i have quit alcohol altogether now for 8 days and will not be picking it up again. i am just worried i could have done more damage than was already there.

Aspergillosis and Hyperinflated lungs.
I had one Dr said I have Pulmonary
Fibrosis
and it’s spread to the lining of the lung and another looked at her notes and said she can see nothing there to suggest I’ve got it. Now I don’t know what to think.

Day 2 embryo transfer done , 2 week wait begins
Frozen transfer complete. Day 2 embryo. I asked what grade but just got a reply saying one was a bit slower than they expected and one was a bit faster? No idea what that means, probably not great but I didn’t push for anymore info. They are all I have left so I didnt really have much of an option.

Study points to coding DNA variants as cause for childhood onset schizophrenia
It is not a monogenetic disorder like Tay Sachs, cystic
fibrosis
, or Huntington’s disease, which are caused by a mutation in just one gene or one genetic variant,” he said. Scientists also know that schizophrenia is triggered by a combination of genetics and environmental factors.

Newly diagnosed at 60
Consultant explained about my
fibrosis
diagnosis and suggested I lose a lb per week and up my activity level. Explained how working from home has certainly reduced the amount of exercise I take. First month, doing well, lost 6lb, going out for long walks.

Coping strategies needed!
Yesterday I had my 8th embryo transfer. we we're lucky enough to conceive with our first DE ICSI cycle in 2016, since then we've had 7FET with DE. We needed to find a new donor after the 2nd fet. There has been a miscarriage and biochemical pregnancies with the last three goes . I'm not sure what I'm

Blasts - are they a total blast or a blasted nuisance?
What I'd like to know is what to look out for, both symptomatically and from test results, as signals of increased
fibrosis
, or progression.

Diagnosed with cirrhosis
Today I found out I have stage 4
fibrosis
which is cirrhosis. I quit drinking over 10 years ago, I've had weight loss surgery and lost over 5 stone which as reduced my fatty liver to practically zero. I don't have hepatitis or autoimmune liver disease, yet I still have cirrhosis. I'm only 41.
