Fibroscan vs CT scan for cirrhosis diagnostics
As I understand, Fibroscan can correctly show the
fibrosis
reading of, let's say 6.5 kPa, but CT scan can still detect liver nodularity and scarring which corresponds to cirrhosis diagnosis. Is this correct?

TWW symptoms or lack of?
Hi ladies, I'm 6 days past a day 6 embryo transfer. It's my second transfer of a euploid embryo. My first FET resulted in a chemical. With this FET I've had next to no symptoms, some minor cramping on the day of transfer due to the procedure, some bloating from 4-5 days past, mildy tender boobs, and

Ibrance & Endometrial Cancer?
Hi, I am currently in remission after 2 recurrences of endometrial cancer. My cancer is ER + and PR+ and HER2-. I have taking Ibrance and anastrozole for nearly 5 years. Out of curiosity, is anyone else doing the same? I’ve been hanging out with the metastatic breast cancer folk because I haven’t found

Bone marrow result - cryptic
Anyway, the meeting with her was over in a minute and all I got was, you have some
fibrosis
but it hasn't been grades so I can't tell you anything, 14 genes have been looked at, then rambled about probably not taking interferon as that can be bad for
fibrosis
.

End game and PMR
My main problem is IPF, the loss of lung capacity through
fibrosis
, in my case very slowly, if inexorably. I am somewhere close to the endgame, say a couple of years at best, and I am quite reconciled to this.

How long for CT Scan results
Also does CT Scan tell you the degree to Liver
Fibrosis
. I have F3
Fibrosis
but have massively lost weight and changed diet. I'm wondering if a CT scan can tell if it's getting better or does that still need a Fibroscan.

pros and cons of hysterectomy vs decapeptyl injections for fibroids
Hi- wondering if anyone else had to make a decision between continuing decapeptyl injections (simulate menopause to control fibroids) or having open hysterectomy? Been on the injections a year now. There isn’t much research on long term use of injections which ‘switch off’ your hormones, and I can

Medical Cannabis and Liver Fibrosis
I am wondering if it safe to use a small amount of Medical MJ such as a gummy with CBD, CBN and THC for pain and sleep at night. The doctor didn't comment when I told her that I was taking a small amount. Has anyone had any experience with this? I don't want to make things worse.

Liver Biopsy and AI
My initial diagnosis is F3-F4 alcohol-related
fibrosis
(but they were leaning more towards F4 cirrhosis with 17.8 kPa reading). My antibody markers were continuously high in the past 1.5 years.

Moderate Fatty Liver with normal liver enzymes
Fibrosis
bloodwork came back as high and in category F1-F2 w no NASH. Went to a hepatologist and she did a fibroscan. It came back moderately fatty, but enzymes remain normal (AST 16, ALT 15). I don’t have high cholesterol or diabetes.

Fatty liver physical symptoms
It feels like the physical symptoms don’t quite match the findings, so I’m wondering if it’s possible that a slightly fatty liver can also have some of the symptoms more commonly associated with
fibrosis
/cirrhosis, or if the liver might not be the cause of some of them.

BMB results
Spoke to the doctor this morning, biopsy showed some
fibrosis
/scarring, apparently Anagrelide, which I’ve been on for some years, can make this worse! So dosage is being reduced from 4 to 3 per day. Platelets currently at 495 but he said it should be ok if they go up to 600.

Starting a fresh egg collection straight after a failed FET
I had my third embryo transfer on Friday - today is 3dp5dt. The transfer itself went smoothly but I am not feeling confident as since then I have had no symptoms. I know people say they get a positive with no symptoms, but I have been pregnant twice before (both ended in mc) and had really obvious cramping
